I used this to fix my new number plates on car the back number plate stuck easily but the front number plate did give a few extra problems because my bmw has quite a curve on the bumper a couple of hours after sticking it I could see it coming away on the edges so I put it next to a wall with some spacers on the edge of the number plate so the edges was pressed firmly on Then heated up the number plate with a heat gun for about 4 mins wile on the car so it gave it the bend it needed I left it overnight and it’s perfectIt’s been on over a month going through car washes and jet washes and hasn’t come awayThe tape is great 5 stars but my problem was the stiffness of my number plates

First time I've used this and I was impressed at how versatile it is, especially in the car for mounting plastic to plastic, etc. I found it better and more reliable than normal double sided tape. It claims it's reusable, but I found it tends to lose its stickiness once reused. It's removal is quite easy and comes off in one piece with no mess, much, much better than those white sticky pads that always leave the sticky and foam behind. Make sure surfaces are clean and dry before using, I used rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol to clean the surfaces.

The sticky pads supplied by the manufacturers of my new number plate did not work. This was partially because my car's front bumper has a slight curve, and sticking the number plate right at the left and right edges is challenging.This product worked. But I've got to say that you only get a small amount for the £9 asking price, which feels like a rip-off. This is not a big, thick roll of tape, like you might expect.But then again, I haven't found any other product that advertises this capability. You might be able to find sticky pads rated for outdoor use. But will they be good enough to take the kind of punishment a moving car can deliver? That goes above and beyond just a bit of rain every now and again. And who wants to take the risk of their numberplate falling off when they're driving at speed?So, they have us by the short and curlies, I guess. The roll of tape you get here might serve to fix two or maybe three number plates, spending on how sparingly you use it. Personally, I'd advise using any existing screw fixings on the number plate if you have them available.

I have thin overall carpet and this one small rug will move making it trippable. This tape useless getting the backing off very hard, it stuck onto the small rug but not to the carpet. I would think it would adhere to a hardwood floor but then the backing will have to be pulled off at floor level. Not brilliant.

This tape is the best one I’ve found to securely attach my cherished number plates to my limo.Very easy to use and after quite a few weeks there is no sign of the plates moving.Follow the instructions and everything will be tickety-boo.Also good to know that it is made in Britain.Enjoy.RegardsE.R.

This double sided tape is incredibly strong, will definitely buy it again .

Firstly let me start by saying that I broke the first clearly defined cardinal rule of this tape - I used it to stick a rug to a carpet. Now, i completely understand that this was at my own risk but being one with my OCD i simply couldnt cope with our living room rug constantly shifting and not being at a perfect right angle to the TV unit. I had previously tried velcro strips and other 'rug to carpet' fixings but they just dont hold up to a 9 year old performing gymnastics all over them (that would be my daughter, not me!) So i went to the dark side and purchased this will full intention of sticking a rug to carpet, and let me tell you, it stuck! Infact, I am pretty sure it is now structurally integral to the foundation of the house! The tape itself is of good quality, there is a crosshatched mesh throughout which prevents it from tearing and once applied you have a very strong hold indeed. I did also use as intended and stuck various rugs to laminate floors and tile, and the results were the same. For reviewings sake, I pulled up one edge of the rug after a month and the tape came away cleanly with only a mild stickiness which easily wiped away with a damp cloth. Whilsts predominantly designed to hold rugs in place, due to the nature of this item essentially being a very strong double sided tape I am sure there are many other applications for it. I still have half a roll left after securing 4 quite large rugs in place and it is a handy thing to have knocking around the man drawer. Plus (if you are still in doubt over purchasing it), It has a picture of a tiger on! Tiger balm, tiger bread, its all good!
