Strong signal with zero noise, very compact, excellent for price
I've just received this, but I've tested it and am very happy with the results. The issue I was most concerned about was, essentially, the signal to noise ratio. I can confirm that this is not an issue at all: I'm picking up zero noise when I'm not talking, and a very loud level when speaking (in fact I will have to turn the gain down a little I think).I recently returned a desk-standing cardioid USB microphone of a similar price, because it had quite a considerable noise level. Of course, this is because it was very cheap—but this USB lav mic is also very cheap, while delivering very decent performance. The sound quality is not perfect; I think it sounds a little muffled. But I don't want to overstate this—the quality really is very respectable indeed. I'm only planning on using this for video conferencing (zoom etc.). However, while it might make more sense to use a separate USB audio interface with an XLR lav mic if you've got a more professional use case, because of the price and portability, the LM40 could still come in handy.Physically, it all feels very well made. The cable is nice and long, with a velcro cable tie. The mic clip is very strong. Included is a soft pleather carry bag (it's not padded however).Overall, this is bound to be one of the best options for the price, for speaking at a computer.

Brilliant quality
Brilliant lapel microphone, the only downsides for me are that it takes a watch battery to power itself for camera inputs, monitoring that capacity is impossible, one day it'll just cut out on you and you'll have to have a replacement battery on hand!Otherwise you can leave it in the 'off' position for phones. The cables is incredibly long, I haven't unravelled mine because it has no business being that long! But, if you need your camera a couple metres away or you're going into a mixing desk far away then I guess this is useful. For me, i'm never more than a few feet away from the camera so I have no use for all this length! The tied up wrap can be a little clunky handing to talent and asking them to burry this massive wrap of wires in their pocket alongside the Rode Wireless you're probably plugging it into...But as I say, incredible quality, very affordable, and does a brilliant job. 5 stars

Good value for money
Used it for amateur video. The sound came out clearer with it than without it.Easy to set-up. Small with long cable.

Usb plug is garbage
Usb plug stopped working after a few days despite being plugged in to the same port at all times. Would not recommend.

At first I thought is not working with camera
Watched couple of videos and realised DSLRs take trs connections not trrs which comes with the microphone. So to work you will need adapter from trrs to trs .
