Great party trick! We used this over the weekend finally and boy did it not disappoint. Firstly, it's the easiest thing to cook when you have guests, all you need to prep are some grated cheese and cold meats and that in itself is enough to get going, bonus points for each additional item you can think of (mushrooms, lardons, ricotta etc). So you make your pancake mix (make plenty) and essentially let your guests or family cook for themselves :-) job's done. Kids will love it, you'll love it, dishwasher will love it too! Once you're done with the mains then don't turn it off just yet, the sweet pancakes are coming!! Bring on bananas, strawberries, Nutella, whipped cream... Need I say more? A great device, small niggle is the lack of controlled heat (it's either on of off) but you'll adjust your cooking time quickly trust me. Very happy with this.

Overall its a wonderful product for making pancake efficiently especially if you have either small business, or your kids love pancakes. It's quick and easy to use and has made my life easier. Could gibe 5 stars if it had different temperatures settings. Since this has only 1 temperature setting so when it turns fully hot and starts burning pancakes if left longer, you would need to turn off to lower the temperature. So it would be lovely to add high, medium and low temperature settings to make it perfect.

So glad I bought this, saves me cleaning my stainless steel pan! I was worried about there only being one heat setting but I found if I just spread the mix around a little as I put it in, it helps it to fill the shape of the indent, doesnt get too thick and cooking it for a minute or so on each side does the trick. If you leave them in for too long they will burn but if you just use a small amount of mix it’s fine and my mix is quite thick. 43g salted butter 140g plain flour 33g sugar 1/2+ 1/8 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda 1 large egg 240ml buttermilk 1/4 tsp vanilla Makes about 6. Melt butter and add to wet ingredients before combining with dry Let mix rest as pan warms up Fry in a small amount of butter - not too much cos they absorb it Flip when holes have appeared (popped bubbles)

Poor quality I think. Only one temperature setting which smells strong when it heats up. Yet the instruction booklet says you can turn it down. Nope. It's either on red hot or off. Followed all instructions made 3 batches of pancakes all would have burned or not cooked in middle as you have to keep switching it on & off to get a decent temp to cook without burning. I would go so far to say it is dangerous as the whole unit gets so hot and you can't turn it down it would set something alight if it fell on it. Returning for refund.

We have both gluten and lactose allergies in our family. This machine makes the perfect go to breakfast for us every morning using only 4 ingredients (5 if you want to sprinkle in some raisins) as per the photos. 150 millilitres lactose free milk 1 medium sized egg Mix together and turn on the machine Add in 2 teaspoons of caster sugar Then 100 grams exactly of Dove's farm self raising flour Machine should now be hot enough to pour the mixture. Just over half fill each circle. Sprinkle on 5-6 raisins to each. By the time you have done this you then flip over the pancakes with a non stick 1 inch thick flexible spatula (I'll show a photo of the one I use on last photo from Amazon) Shout the child downstairs and they are ready to go. I eat them as they are plain but the Daughter likes Nutella on hers 😋 Makes 9 in total using this recipe. We have 3 each then I save the last mixture of 3 in the fridge for a quick breakfast the next day Quick wipe with wet sponge when machine still warm is all it needs to clean I hope you all find this useful. This is just what I wanted. It fires up quickly and cools down, too. Is easy to clean. Yes, there is just one heat setting but that is just right for any pancake mix. We use it to have some fun family time cooking - just like I used to do with my mom when I was a child. The only minor thing is that I don't like the wooden spatulas that came with it, could be better polished or silicone.

Tried and tested with an entire after school class!

Great product, light and easy to use, but make sure if you buy in Australia to check power cord compatible.
