This tool is a replacement for the ones I broke. I noticed when I tightened down the pin, I was placing pressure on the threaded portion of the stud. The nut has slots to use a screwdriver, and it's really easy to slide the screwdriver into the slots just right to catch the stud and shear it off making the whole tool unusable. Just pay attention to this and how much torque you use when tightening it down. Works great and fits both hc1 and hc2 style hole cutters.

I had the tool for a year. I have used it everyday. And i finally broke it. I got a replacement deliver march 11, like 3 weeks ago and broke already. The new one is junk.

Fit just like the original still east to snap just use a smaller crescent wrench and be careful

I needed this part badly for 2 tools. This is a high quality OEM part that saved me from discarding 2 tools. It is a part that malfunctions often and is needed. I am thankful to find it

I liked the old style better! These ones break if they're over tightened. They all slip on the hole cutter but I found sanding the pain off helps that issue.
