Celtic Knotwork Designs

This was purchased as a birthday present for my daughter who is an accomplished artist and was interested in Celtic Knotwork drawing. I knew the basics but didn't feel confident enough to really go through it with her. When the book arrived I flipped through hoping to at least see what I already knew ... and what I found were instructions, diagrams, and patterns that made me wish I could keep the book for myself! Long after its purchase, it's still a well-used book and my daughter has become quite well known for her beautiful knotwork designs that all began with this book.

This book is a great springboard for doing your own designs. It's very easy to follow, and breaks complex Celtic design elements down into very manageable pieces that I was very soon able to master and implement in my own designs.

Great instructional book on creating celtic knots and creating your own celtic knotworks. This will be a great help in my crafts and various home projects. I can even use this for teaching my daughter to draw the knotworks.

But the pictures are a little too small to see well. Especially with my eyesight. It is an excellent reference book though.

This book is brilliant! For anyone wanting to draw celtic knots, this book is essential reading. The author gives straightforward instructions and tips, with 224 different, easy to follow diagrams. I wish I had found this book when I started to tackle celtic knots, instead of some other, very complicated ones I bought. Thank you Sheila Sturrock!

Pour toutes les personnes qui aiment l'Art Celtic ce livre est magnifiquement bien fait. Clair, facile à lire à comprendre. Bon, je parle Anglais et surtout un bon français.... ben oui ça aide. Au delà de cela, on peux sans autre regarder les dessins proposés et simplement travailler dessus. J'aime beaucoup Sheila Sturrock, elle sait communiquer sa passion. Je vous recommande ce livre.
