Wasted years with photography specific backpacks like lowepro can't walk far with these. Then hiking specific backpacks like osprey and internal ICU pain to get out. These shimodas bridge the two. Expensive but a lot cheaper than keep changing bags. Very happy with this. Quality!

I've tried multiple bags, what photographer hasn't, and this 35L is just perfect. Most comfortable and fits my Z9, Zf, and 7 lenses, along with many other items.Somebody else in the reviews here said their Z9 would not fit, they must not have had the correct DSLR insert. If you have the mirrorless insert that is less deep. But both the Med and Large DSLR cores are deep enough for the Z9 to stand up with a lens. And this bag is made for these cores. And can standup other lenses like the 24-120, 85, 105, etc. or lay down the 100-400 easily.

I own several different backpacks from a variety of manufacturers. I purchased this size of pack after reading and watching a variety of in-depth reviews. It was purchased for a week long trip to Rome where I would be carrying a the new medium format Fujifilm GFX 100ii camera and two lenses. It was packed with wide angle fixed focal lens and a zoom lens, travel tripod, filters, straps, iPad, iPhone and a raincoat. What makes this pack better and far more comfortable than most is the frame. For long or all-day use, this is the best pack I’ve ever used and is more than capable of carrying most equipment rigs with comfort and efficiency. The pack is far larger than it seems.

One bag to rule them all.....that about sums up this camera bag. Always on the hunt for the perfect camera bag that fits a large amount of gear and meets all the Carry-on requirements to take the stress out of wondering if the airline is going to charge you extra. This bag is for my husband who is tall, long torso and really has a hard time finding a bag that fits comfortably. This is the one. I'm 5'6" and I find that it's a bit too much bag for myself. The smaller version of this would be great for me. The bag is high quality, smooth zippers, perfect design. It's not a light pack by any means, but those that carry around photo equipment are probably used to carrying a heavier load. Also love the sleek look and that there are no large logos on the bag. If you're in doubt, don't be. Just get it.
