Fyxation Rodeo Pursuit Bullhorn Handle Bar

I have been using Fyxation's EVA Loop Bar Tape for a few years now and it has always worked beautifully for me. It holds up much better than any other bar tape I've tried and is very comfortable even on rough roads (not to mention it is considerably cheaper than many other tapes but performs just as well or better). It is also great to support an American company that produces quality components at affordable prices. The Rodeo Pursuit Bars are comfortable and allow for many more hand positions than your standard bull horn bars. I was very surprised at how light the Fyxation bars were but they still felt sturdy and will likely stand up to any kind of abuse that you could reasonably dish out. They are also a unique-looking addition to any bicycle, so expect to get comments while out riding. The finish, as other reviewers have noted, does not seem like it will hold up under even regular use. My bars had several scratches on them when I opened the package but they just appeared to be scratches in the finish not into the metal itself. Some people might be upset about their handlebars' finish coming off but so far it does not look bad; just adds character, especially on a city bike. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Rodeo Pursuit Bars to anyone looking for a set of handlebars that are both aesthetically pleasing while still being functional.

Good pair of quality bars that are reasonably priced. I really like the pursuit bars over straight up bullhorns because of the options for hand positions; Up top feels more natural then just a straight bar and I also dig the slight 40mm drop on the horns. These bars feel really light. Before these bars I had stock BMX bars that came with my Critical Cycles fixie and thought those were light, but these are even lighter, I'm very happy with the weight of these bars. I ordered the 40cm and they are the perfect width for me. The center logo on the bar helped me position the bars perfectly, very easy to center them inside the clamp. I wrapped the bars in Origin8 Black ProPulsion bar tape and used Scotch Professional Grade Super 33+ Vinyl Electrical Tape to keep them secure at stem instead of using the flimsy tape included. Side note: Shipping from #Bikes (Hastag Bikes) was super fast, with free super saver shipping through USPS (Indiana->NJ) I received the bars earlier than the earliest delivery date. These bars are awesome, when i actually got it in the mail and put it on my bike it looked amazing. It got a little bit getting used to because I rode with riser bars before but I quickly adjusted to the change and even found myself loving the multiple hand positions I have now as opposed to just one position on my previous risers. This bar was much lighter than I expected; which was a good thing. The only quarrel I had with it is replacing my brakes. My old purefix brakes didn't fit on these bars because the diameter was much thicker than my previous handlebars. This was alittle frustrating considering I had to go out and buy new brake levers (not the entire brake setup, just the lever). That is the only reason I'm giving it a 4 star and not a 5. Before you buy these bars make sure you know what diameter your levers fit!...that is if you ride with brakes.

I originally ordered a drop bar to upgrade my stock riser bar but quickly realized it was too dangerous for commuting around town. I settled for this bullhorn bar instead - it offers the flexibility of multiple hand positions and better visibility. I especially like the slight bend on the top section which is easier on the wrists than one that is completely flat. Some tips for brake lever installations: I learned this the really hard way by buying three different brake levers and returning all three due to them not fitting. This bar is 25.4mm at the stem tapered down to 24mm at the end. Most v-brake levers are the standard 22.2mm. If you are lucky enough to find one in 24mm, make sure it has a HINGED clamp otherwise it will not slide around even the first curve of the bar. Any cross lever should also work but these are not designed to be the primary brake lever so after a lot of research I eventually settled on the Tektro 4.1 reverse brake lever. It gives the bike a super clean look and has excellent stopping power.

Actual dimensions were not included in the description and were assumed to be standard - mistake! The bars were not the same size as the ones being replaced and of course nothing fit........

I bought these after purchasing the Project Fixie pursuit bars to see which one had a better shape. Turns out they are seemingly the exact same, just they Fyxation's are twice the price. The paint is a little different but everything else is identical. Shape, size, curves, etc. Save yourself some money and go with the Project Fixie ones, especially if you'll be wrapping them in bar tape.

the feel of these bars is amazing. I had riser bars first and after putting these on it was like night and day. very strong, durable and quality product here from Fyxation. The varied hand postions and feel make these a no brainer and would highly recomend to all.

great build quality. would of love a bit more drop but it panned out and was more comfortable than i expected.

Really like the aggressive stance the pursuite bars give you when extended on the drops. Multiple hand positions and enough room on the flat for front and rear brakes.

Good set of bars. Very solid. Wish they were a tiny bit more curved, and that they didn't go that far forward, but I'm comfortable gripping and riding on my single speed without tape. Throwing in some barends would be nice too.
