It's a pretty hefty housing and might cause minor discomfort if your camera is lighter than the lens itself, otherwise it's perfect for artsy photos and for learning photography on a budget. Make sure to set your camera to "release shutter" mode otherwise it won't work for you as it has no electrical connections to the camera body.
