Excellent product, purchased for travel substitute for air-wrap. Love the ability to detach the brush for preliminary drying. The barrel quickly becomes notably more hot than my air-wrap, but for infrequent use I’m sure this wouldn’t be an issue

However, I’ve encountered a recurring issue with overheating. On multiple occasions, including with my third unit, the brush gets excessively hot, to the point where it triggers the smoke alarm. This has been a frustrating and concerning problem, as it interrupts my styling routine and raises safety concerns. Despite its excellent performance in terms of styling, the overheating issue is a significant drawback. It’s a bit disheartening to experience this with each unit I’ve tried. If Revlon addresses this overheating problem, I’d be thrilled to give the product a higher rating, as the results it delivers are otherwise outstanding. For now, it’s a tool with great potential, but with a critical flaw to be aware of.
