## Description

The HeadBlade was designed for a single function--make head shaving easy. We accomplished this by following a couple of simple design principles:
The user had to be able to shave by feel. In other words, the razor had to sit close to the head.
The razor needed two contact points to create a 'suspension' allowing the blade to automatically pivot and follow the contour of the head.
The original HeadBlade was designed in 1997 by Todd Greene out of necessity. He had been suffering for years with the traditional stick razor, and felt there had to be a better way.
The bold, new design was quickly adopted and became one of TIME magazine's “Best Inventions of the Year” in 2000.

I used this years ago. The price then was probably a third of what it is now, so I balked and explored other options. After using this again, I have to say it is worth it. The best for shaving your head. It is really slick, duh, and you only need a small amount. Just rewet rather than reapply. Fewer nicks than other products. Lesson learned.

I’ve been using the HeadBlade HeadSlick Shave Cream for about five months now, and I can confidently say it’s the best shaving cream I’ve ever used on my bald head—hands down. I’ve tried everything over the years: gels, foams, oils, other creams, even a few “bald-specific” products that promised a lot but didn’t deliver. HeadSlick actually does what it claims to do—and does it consistently.Right from the first use, I could tell this was something different. The cream has a slick, almost lotion-like texture that spreads easily and evenly. You don’t need a lot—just a small amount covers your whole scalp. It doesn’t lather up like a typical shaving foam, but that’s the point. It stays thin, smooth, and incredibly slick, which allows the razor to glide across your head with almost no resistance. That means less tugging, fewer nicks, and a much closer shave.One of the biggest issues I’ve had with other shave products is post-shave irritation or razor burn—especially around the back of my head where the skin is more sensitive. With HeadSlick, that’s virtually eliminated. It contains menthol, which gives a cooling, refreshing feel during and after the shave. It’s not overpowering—just enough to wake you up and leave your scalp feeling clean and calm.Another big plus is that this cream rinses out of your razor easily.
