adidas Originals Shoe Protector Spray - Invisible protection against water and stains

It’s been decades since I used a sneaker protector because I never really saw the benefit or trusted that the products actually worked. Well, this product won me over. Follow the instructions closely and you’ll have an added layer of protection on your favorite sneakers without any extra shine or discoloration. I used this on gray, black, white, and blue sneakers and it is totally invisible but has definitely protected my shoes from spills and scuffs.**caution** do not spray your shoes on a wood floor without something under them to protect the floor. This left a very slippery spot on my floor that took several attempts to remove.

This was my first time using a WATER BASED shoe protector. Most protectors I've come across are alcohol based. I cannot yet speak to its effectiveness, but the application process is a little different.Because it is water based, it is very wet and one must gently rub the product into the shoe. I wasn't into this.I prefer the alcohol based protector that sprays on, clings to the shoe and dries on its own.Having to rub the protector into the shoe made it SEEM like the protector was less effective and it created an extra step in the process that I didn't feel like dealing with (first world problem).In the end, I decided against bringing the shoes on vacation, so I cannot yet speak to how effective is the actual product.

This spray is easy to use and a great way to protect kids shoes!

Work for protect your tennis

Sprayed it on white Adias shoes for an elementary school kid. So far it is holding the shoes up nicely even through the wet grass. Easy to use. Doesn’t really have a smell to it. Wish it came in a kit though, with a brush and rag and cleaner and stuff.

I applied three coats. My jeans left blue stains on the younger of the shoe. I wore them to a theme park and it rained. The rain and dirt got into the mesh and it is impossible to clean out.This spray does not work and I sprayed it and trusted it for a brand new pair of white Adidas Boosts and they are ruined.Do not buy.
