I was a little confused by this thing at first. Why did everyone use the word "tap" instead of saying something like "push and hold to activate"?I think I get it now. I didn't think this would be capable of a very fine grind, but I was wrong. If you hold it down for about 5 seconds, whatever is under it will be pulverized to a fine dust. Most of the time, you probably don't want to do that. After getting over the mild learning curve of figuring out how to time the pulses, I'm impressed over the amount of control I have over the consistency. Battery life is great. My manual grinder is staying around for backup purposes, but I don't miss it one bit.

Wish I knew about this grinder years ago no more sore wrist problems

I Love it ! I have problems with my hands and fingers and works like a charm. Lighting up is a plus. not easy to clean but I just use it for one thing so I don't care.

I thought this would be a grinder where you put it in the grinder and ground. However, you just set it on top of the "herb" and it grinds down like a press. When I read put a nickel amount under it, I groaned as a -- well-let's-just-say more than a nickel amount person. However, it works better than that, and it is so easy. I have fibromyalgia and my husband cancer, so anything too hard to press or turn is hard on us. This is so easy -- I just love, love, love it! :)

Excellent at pulverizing herb and brings out the flavors like no other. Enough that it turns a little bit into powder if you grind for more than maybe 3 seconds. Extremely easy to use and don't let the little chain fool you.
