Great all-purpose product
It's the main ingredient in Fry-Away, so I use it after cooking with oil or have leftover fat from baking or cooking. It does the trick and I am quite satisfied with the results. Plus, when you mix in baking soda, it erupts like elephant toothpaste. Pretty cool science experiment!

Necessary tool for making great candles
I use stearic acid to increase the stiffness of my wax for use in pillars and in molds. Stair acid also helps to increase the amount of light that moves through the wax. I use this product at a particular ratio that works well for my candles. This is a great resource for candlemakers, whether you are experienced or just starting out in the field.
