Squier Standard Telecaster - Almost a perfect fit.
I put this on my Squier Standard Telecaster (vintage blonde) which I purchased new in 2012. The factory pickguard had yellowed so badly, that it matched the color of the guitar! I bought the stock white 3 ply guard, and it fit with only a small modification to the cutout for the control plate. I used my Dremel tool with a sanding drum, and gently removed a small amount of material from the lower edge of the cutout. After that, everything else fit. All screw holes lined up, and I had no issues putting the neck back on. I hope this one doesn't turn yellow.

Perfect fit on Affinity telecaster
This review is for the 3-ply black pickguard. It was a dead-on perfect fit on an Affinity Telecaster and looks fantastic. The plastic is a nice heavy gauge and looks like it would stand up well to regular gig use. Yes, you may have to loosen the control plate for a moment when installing the pickguard, but it may set you back a whopping ten seconds and is absolutely a non-issue. Also, be aware that there are TWO layers of protective plastic on this pickguard. Be sure to remove them both or it will look as though the surface of your nice new pickguard is blemished. Overall an outstanding value.

Fits a Squier Affinity perfectly. High quality.
I bought the black 3 ply. It fit my 2004 Squier Affinity perfectly. Every single hole lined up. It's thick, and looks very nice. Does not seem cheap or flimsy. One trick on the install -- unscrew your control plate (both screws.) Lift it up, and THEN drop in the new pick guard. Put 2 or 3 screws into the guard, but not all the way tight. Make sure it's lined up with all holes and then drop the control plate down where it meets the guard. Slide them around a little to make a tight fit. THEN tighten the control plate. Then put all the screws into the guard.

Nice pearloid cover.
This looks great on my guitar but I did have to work on it ,not a straight drop in. I had to drill the holes for the pick up, trim the neck pocket, and around the controll panel. It also required me to drill (and plug the old ones), 4 of the eight holes. The pearloid looks great. And the black tricolor looks awesome on the turquoise body. But if you have never worked on guitars and if you do not have a dremel tool and or drill, I would not recommend. But for those of you that this is just another day on your guitar this is a great buy and looks great.

"Fits The Squire Affinity Perfectly"
I recently had my Telecaster stolen and me not being a wealthy man had to come up with something gig worthy for the short dollar!...Having had experience with the Squire Affinity I bought the one they call 'Slick Silver".....It comes with a very nice white pickguard but I thought to myself,,,How can I make this Tele 'Mine' if you will....So for under ten dollars I bought this black pickguard knowing that if for Any reason it wouldn't fit or line up,, I wouldn't have broken the bank....Well....It took a grand total of five minutes to switch out pickguards and it looks great!....Its Mine!!

Perfect Fit for Squier Affinity!
I was thoroughly impressed with this pickguard. I got a simple 3 ply BWB pickguard to replace the white pickguard on my 2018 Made In Indonesia Squier Affinity Telecaster in Artic White. After reading reviews and doing research online, I assumed I would have to alter the pickguard a bit or drill new holes into the guitar, but everything lined up perfectly! I had the old pickguard off and this new one installed in about 2 minutes... I didn’t even loosen the strings, it was that easy. I would highly recommend these pickguards, especially for the price!!!

Very nice looking pick guard!!
Very good for the money. Not all of the holes lined up but I expected that. I was hoping most lined up and I believe I got all but 3 to line up so I plugged the ones that didnt line up and redrilled new holes. That worked perfectly. With all the upgrades I made to the guitar my nephew said he thought it looked like a higher end Telecastor. I think once it was built I spent less than $250 total on it. I still have a couple other upgrades in store for it but for now it's looking and working good enough.

Looks Great - Fits Squier Standard Telecaster
I purchased this as a low cost cosmetic upgrade to my Squier Standard telecaster. It says in the description that it only fits Fenders, but I took a chance. I am happy to report that it fit my Squier just fine, all the screw holes line up perfectly. I only had to drill holes to mount the neck pickup. Using the old pickguard as a template, this was a simple matter. Pearloid finish looks fantastic!

May need to file down some corners.
I loved this pick guard. Color is beautiful, looks awesome on a while tele. Had to do some small adjustments, but fitted perfectly.Highly recommend this pickguard. Can't go wrong, price was right too. Two thumbs up.Note: my tele is a Dean brand, so if you use this on a fender you may not need to do any customizing.

4 ply thickness looks awesome
Put this on a spalted top telecaster. Looks ten times better than the blank white pick guard the tele came with. The border holes were not lined up and the neck pick-up had no mounting holes. I redrilled and the new pickguard covered the old holes and the neck pic-up went into the newly drilled holes. I'm happy!

Alas, a properly priced pick guard for a great guitar!
I am very pleased with this tele style pick guard priced at what a pick guard should be. It fit my 2013 Fender American Deluxe Tele without any problems. I used old pick guard to line up where neck pickup screws needed to be and drilled it myself. Super easy but could be challenging if you don't have a drill or bits. This is for the DIY type.

Not as advertised
It’s red... not even dark like the picture. A medium red... with a bland marble type of pattern. It also has a matte finish... not glossy at all. Will be returning.
