Unisom Simple Slumbers Return-to-Sleep Dissolving Strips 21-Count, Melatonin 3mg, Cool Mint

Love this product my friend suggested this to help with insomnia and it worked wonders. I highly suggest this for anyone whose struggled to find something to help them fall asleep that didn't leave them groggy the next day.

I do like this product, does help me go back to sleep quickly.

My husband and I both take melatonin. His erratic work schedule and my overactive brain just make a regular sleep schedule very difficult to achieve. Melatonin has been a godsend for both of us!!!!These Unisom Simple Slumbers Return-to-Sleep Dissolving Strips are so easy and convenient to take. You can take them before bed to help you fall asleep or keep them on your nightstand so if you happen to wake up during the night and can't fall back asleep, you can take one of these without having to get up and get a glass of water!If you remember the breath strips that were popular many years ago, these are just like those! They come in a convenient little hard case that can easily fit in your pocket or purse. The strips are super thin and fragile! You definitely want to make sure that your hands are clean and dry before attempting to take out a strip. They dispense fairly easily and don't stick together.The flavor is slightly minty. Not super powerful like a breath freshener or anything, just a nice, mild mint flavor. I didn't notice any funky aftertastes or anything.While they do dissolve quickly, they kind of linger on your tongue for awhile. I actually prefer dissolving them UNDER my tongue. The lingering coating doesn't bother me nearly as much there as it does on top of my tongue!With 3 mg of melatonin per strip, they work well at combatting the occasional bout of restlessness! Just be careful what time you take them if you plan on taking them during the night. They do cause some grogginess! I don't notice it when I take them to fall asleep but if I take them during the night, I feel a little zombie like in the morning!

Tried this out last night. This small container of "sleep aid" sounded like a good idea, especially for someone traveling and packing space is an issue. For home use, a real pain to use, in my opinion. Unisom is a brand recognized, so giving it a try. The little plastic box contains 21 thin wafers/strips of Mint flavored Melatonin (each 3 mg.), a sleep aid that usually works for most people. It worked for me last night, as Melatonin usually does for the occasional times it's used. My 3 Star complaint is with the way the wafer-thin strips are released, very difficult to retrieve out of the box. The snap opening is 2" where your finger would pull out each strip, but the strips don't come out easily and will start to disintegrate. I think by using the tip of your fingernail, a strip can be coaxed out better. The taste was a very light minty flavor, kind of a gel, and it dissolved fast. I slept well, waking once to use the bathroom and felt a but groggy then, but went right back to sleep, and woke rested and alert. Would have like giving more stars, but the means of retrieving these is just too intricate and difficult.
