Staingate Fix for Removing Antiglare coating on MacBooks (2014 Model and later)
Hi,The new MacBook (2015 retina )which I own had this screen problem where the antiglare coating had peeled off and looked messy. The only option was to change the ratina screen--but it was expensive. So after browsing Youtube, I saw a hack where Armour etch was used to remove the antiglare coating and after the removal, the screen would look clean as new. After trying Lysterine, coline, wet wipes...I tried this alternative glass etch cream for Rs 500/ ..I used it on my ratina screen with microfibre cloth..and initially I was disappointed but later after 30-40 mins, the layer started coming out. Voila, It worked. After about 1.30 hrs...I was there with full screen clean. I had removed the Antiglare coating. So, for all those folks who are coming here for Apple MacBook Staingate fix, Here is a tried and tested glass etch cream that can save your money and get the screen cleaned. This surely is an alternative to Armour Etch.Cheers..Vivek
