I use these on my rack tom and floor tom. I've got a Mapex Armory set using Evans black chrome 12" and 14" heads. These sound gels work great on eliminating overtones. Tried one of these on my Pork Pie snare, but it wasn't necessary. The box comes with 8 of these in 2 different sizes so it's a good deal. Would be nice if they offered these in different colors, but the red isn't bad.

Amazing.These are exactly what you want. I bought the cheap ones on Amazon first and returned them after five minutes. I tuned my drums and then put these on tonight and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Took out most of the overtones and sticks well. Worth the money.

Solid damper. Reusable. They will degrade but these ones are holding up longer than the blue ones

They do dampen sound very well but after a while they started popping off and would not reapply very well after they came off.

Sometimes you have use multiple gels to dampen a head or cymbal, these not only fix that problem but also don’t have a “sticky” top so these gels are my go to over most gels. Yes they may be right on the side of pricey for some but I get to reuse these over and over without having to get another set.
