🔧 Bond Better, Work Smarter!
The 3M3M Adhesion Promoter 111 is a 250 mL bottle of a powerful isopropyl alcohol-based solvent designed to enhance bond strength on challenging surfaces like paint and metal. Its quick-drying formula and low odor make it ideal for industrial use, while its ability to function as a primer simplifies the adhesion process, saving time and effort.

This stuff worked great
I'm not sure if I used this stuff as it is intended to be used but it worked great. I was mounting some stuff outdoors and got this to apply prior to mounting the 3M double side stick pads. I heated the pads and the surface (after applying 3M Adhesion Promoter 111) and these things were stuck like super glue.Wear gloves when using this stuff.

Great adhesion
Used to ensure the best grip possible to afix a carbon fiber spoiler to a trunk lid and it has not moved at all since it was attached about 3 months ago. Would the 3M tape have been enough on its own? Possibly, but it was worth the extra investment to ensure that the spoiler was not going to come loose. I will use the rest of the bottle for future projects as they arise.

Sticks better
Helped my vinyl wrap edges to stick better. Also my double sided tape sticks better. Highly recommended

Works great.
I read Tom Brown's "A User’s Guide to Glazing Tapes" which outlined a series of products to use when using Glazing Tape. In it 3M VHB glazing tape is mentioned as well as 3M Adhesion Promoter. I used this product on several beading strips and the 3M VHB worked great on the strips. I also used it on a metal frame and again, the 3M VHB tape really stuck on the frame well. I used a small foam brush to apply the product.

Makes neoprene gaskets around doors, trunks, frunks, hold stronger
I have a Tesla Y dual motor long distance. I have added all sorts of "enhancements" to offset the cheap design shortages - movable screen, splash guards, cockpit enhancements, top-of-steering stalk charger, rear LED lights for rear tow patch section and other rear lights (which has saved me from one rear-end collision due to bright attention-grabbing strobe effect I am sure - the guy behind me pulled into the left-turn lane beside me and we met eyes). I installed a set of the neoprene gaskets to reduce dirt penetration and noise but the attachment failed in many places. I ordered this product, and spent a lot of time using goof-off to remove every bit of old neoprene. I then used 99% ethyl alcohol to remove all residue of the goof-off.. I then liberally used this product to coat the metal of the Tesla where the new neoprene gaskets were to fit, and I went wider just in case. After several weeks I can confirm that the new neoprene is holding fast just as it should, thanks to this adherent. Many suppliers give little pledgets like alcohol swabs of this 3M solvent chemical - buying this is far better value if you are serious about making an install bulletproof. I recommend this product and would buy it again. Oh, and yes, the Tesla has been even more quiet as a result. Even if you don't have a T you would be good to use this to apply any neoprene gaskets in any vehicle, or doors of your house, or window gasketing of neoprene material.

Works great
I use on double sided tape for automotive and it works great. Helps to make it more sticky. You need a brush or cloth to apply it. Cheaper the larger you buy.
