NICE!
This outside decor is very eye catching. It comes as 2 separate pieces that just connect for hanging.

Really pretty piece!
Really pretty piece. Great colors. I did replace the wingnuts that held the pieces together. Thought they stuck out too far. Fairly easy to hang. Would recommend product.

What you need to know before making this purchase
This metal sculpture is every bit as vivid and colorful as it looks on screen and I'm glad I have it. However, there are a few issues customers should be aware of before making this purchase. To begin, the two-piece structure leads to two potential problems. The first is mostly created by the way the pieces are shipped...front to back strapped to a piece of cardboard with twist-ties...which means scrapes are likely during shipping and handling. (A thin piece of bubble wrap around the cardboard does provide some protection on exterior side.) My first order was marred to the extent I decided to return it. That decision was cemented by the second problem: the two pieces did not fit together without force which caused the moon side to buckle. (The sun side was a bit wider than the moon side.)The replacement pieces fit together well; however, the sealant coat was still thin and the paint still damaged, but the scraped spots were fewer and in places that I could touch up with craft paint. I’ll add a thorough spraying of spar urethane to seal what I painted, give those thin spots better protection and prevent rusting where there were small nicks. (See photos of some marred areas on the original and replacement.)The next issue results from the wingnuts. They are quite visible...especially if, when tightened, they stick out on both sides of the pipe. (Happened on one side for me.) But worse, as another reviewer pointed out, they stick up about a half an inch farther than the hanging hooks. (See photo.) I solved this by using two nuts that fit flush enough to not prevent the hooks from reaching the screws or the sculpture from hanging flat.Last, there's the distance (10.5") between the hanging hooks. If you want to hang the sculpture on a tree (as shown as a possible location in a product photo), know you'll need a substantial tree to provide 10.5" of mostly flat surface. (I have a huge oak in my yard...with a 90" circumference at hanging height...that would be my only suitable candidate.) Since I plan to hang it on a tree and can't use that oak, I'm going to string heavy duty fishing wire between the hooks so that I can install the screws fewer inches apart and hang the sculpture from the wire rather than the hooks. As I said before, I am happy to have this colorful hanging to decorate my yard, but only because I was willing to go through the hassle of returning the first received and to make the repairs and remedies needed for the second. Plus, I already had the outdoor craft paint (in purple, yellow and red) needed for touch-ups, the heavy duty fishing line, a plentiful supply of miscellaneous nuts to choose from, and the can of urethane spray. I just wish the company had created a one-piece sculpture which would have eliminated the need for wingnuts/bolts and the possibility of the two halves not fitting together, would have reduced the likelihood of damage since two halves would not have been strapped against each other and would have made the sculpture overall sturdier. True, the box would have to be wider (by about four inches), but wouldn't that cost have been offset by a simpler design, the eliminated hardware and the fewer products being returned for damage or failure to fit correctly together?
