Great for a moment...
A found this game quite engaging until i finished it. Its very easy to complete, the real chanllenge is to do so in less days every time.I recommend it for anyone looking for a couple of days of fun... and of course, if you like the selling stuff.

Not Diner Dash Material :(
I found this game to be boring and tedious. I got it because I LOVE all of the "Dash" games I own. I think some people will love it if they like to deal with business things, but for those of you that like Diner Dash "stuff"...this isn't close. I trust the company...I only gave it two stars because of the game.

great game
The game works great. I havent had any problems with it so far. This is the third time I tried to get the game, other 2 tries were from other sellers and finally received it.

Fun enough, but low replay value.
DinerTown Tycoon is one of the few DinerTown games I can play. I really hate their "standard" format of seating customers and taking orders as it gets too frustrating too quickly for me - but this version is far more my style. It's a very "turn-based" style of gameplay. You purchase your ingredients beforehand, trying to keep in mind the current day's trend of a favored ingredient and the rise and fall of ingredient prices. You set your prices, buy your ingredients, upgrade your store, and purchase advertisement in hopes that the DinerTown citizens will come to your shop rather than the evil corporation alternate. You watch as citizens walk through the streets and try to figure out the best places for foot-traffic to place your advertising and hopefully collect bonus "tips" during the day as happy customers leave the shop.I had no gameplay problems or bugs, animation was smooth, and gameplay was fair/balanced. The game was easy to pick up and understand. The downside is that the replay value is rather low. While not technically a puzzle, once you've figured out basically how to maximize your potential, you won't have many problems replaying any of the levels, meaning you'll want to put it aside for a few weeks or few months if you ever want to play it again and enjoy playing.

Defective
It wouldn't work no matter what I tried. Turns out a number of other people had the very same problem with it not working.
