Simple Installation
The pistons were an exact match to those on my 2010 Honda Crosstour. The instructions made it clear to slightly pry open the "C" clamps on each end, snap them onto to ball joints, and you're done! Prying off the existing ones made you learn how to do it. Be sure to prop up the trunk to the right height (I used a step ladder). Also, you can go on YouTube for a quick lesson, as well. Done in 15 minutes, and they pop open the trunk perfectly.

2013 Crosstour hatch
These are EXACTLY the same rear hatch struts as the original OEM ( the originals had 'Stabilis' printed on them) for my wife's 2013 Honda Crosstour. They work better than when the car was new....fit like a glove and super easy to install.

This one for heavy doors...Crosstour rear door.
Outstanding...does the job of holding and raising the crosstour rear door with just one shock! Two shocks you better not stand over the opening door...that powerful but still easy to close.

Easy to Install
Only took 5 minutes to install, thanks to excellent directions included with the product. These lifts are very powerful, too. The hatch lid practically lifts itself now. And, I saved $100 vs what the dealer service department would have charged.

If your Crosstour hatch keeps hitting you in the head, install these
Our 2011 Honda CrossTour hatch was getting difficult to open and keep open. This issue becomes more significant when the weather get colder. I love my Wife and seeing her fight with Her car gets upsetting. I looked to see who the manufacturer was and found the exact part number and manufacturer on Amazon. Received the struts next day, remove and replace with no tools and the hatch does not hit my Wife in the head anymore. Hatch is very easy to open again too. Cost effective approach to liking your car again.

Seem to be OEM
The ones I took off the hatch are the same brand. For my 2014 Crosstour, many sites say L and R are distinct parts but with these replacements, you just twist to fit the other side.

Parts easy to find at a good price
Hard to find parts f my Honda Crosstour at a good price except on Amazon. Auto parts stores don't carry these & won't order them either. Easy to install.
