I bought this product as an alternative to Q-tips. I opened the package it just came in a Ziploc type bag with instructions and the tips. I followed the instructions and was able to pull wax out of my ear. I only have wax buildup issue within my left ear and it actually pulled the wax out of that ear. I do not understand everyone else reviews that it doesn’t work they couldn’t hear or felt pain. These tips are very flexible and very soft. I think maybe the other reviewer‘s used it incorrectly and may have shoved it into their ears overdoing it and may have injured themselves. Sometimes products are user error and have nothing to do with the product itself. Well I will say it didn’t come in fancy packaging but for me it did do what it said it was supposed to do and I am satisfied with the purchase. I didn’t feel any pain and I didn’t have any hearing loss. Just follow the directions and not shove it into your ear or try to force the product to do more than what it should do like I said before sometimes it’s just user error and I think some folks may try to do more than they should within their ear canal for which they should be gentle in that area. Once again I’m satisfied.

I have normal ear wax, or at least what I expect is normal. Throughout my life (35yr) When I used q-tips i sometimes got nothing out. Thinking either I'm all clean or mabey I'm not doing a good job. So I got this item thinking this should get anything I'm missing. So far every time I have used it (over a dozzen times) I have never gotten anything. This leaves me to believe q-tips have always done the job well and I have clean ears. Alternatively if you have a build up of wax this feels like it would do a good job. So I'll keep it for when that time comes. Over all my daily routine is back to q-tips because it's easy and drys my ears are the same time and apparently has worked for my "average" ear wax.

If you have a ton of wax built up it’s great if your ears are normal clean it’s not for you.That’s why low stars it work but not right for me

Either I had no wax or it didn't work. You need to try it yourself.
