I’m really happy with this freezer. Shipping and delivery were excellent — it arrived quickly, was well packaged, and there was zero damage. Setup was simple and it got cold surprisingly fast once plugged in. The 3 cu. ft. size is perfect. It holds a lot more than you might expect while still being compact enough to fit comfortably in a small space. It ended up being exactly the right size for storing everything I need it to, and I still have room for more. The build quality feels solid, the stainless steel looks nice, and the lock feature is a great bonus. Overall, it’s a really efficient, well-designed mini freezer that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Highly recommend if you need a compact freezer with good capacity.

I've been really happy with this upright freezer. It has plenty of space and keeps everything frozen solid. The shelves are easy to adjust, so I can fit different sized items without any trouble. It runs quietly and doesn't use much electricity, which is great for my bills. The door closes tight every time, and the light inside makes it easy to find what I need. It's been reliable and does exactly what I need it to do.

I chose this particular freezer because of the Energy Star rating. After reading the instruction book and safety warnings, I decided to install it under the counter in a 24 inch wide cabinet with the doors removed. It fits like a custom order. After waiting 4 hours for the refrigerant to settle, I plugged it in and set it to MAX as per instructions. After 3 hours it had reached a temperature of -10 degrees fahrenheit plenty cold enough, perhaps even a bit too cold for my ice cream products. It is very quiet but if you listen carefully you'll be able to hear the compressor kick on and off, but you really need to be standing right next to it to hear anything so for me it definitely passes the quiet test. We are fully off grid so energy consumption played a big role in choosing this freezer. According to the handbook it draws 75 watts when the compressor is running which is for our needs great! I will keep an eye on it and will report back should the energy usage change. The freezer arrived in perfect condition (which was a concern of mine after reading so many reviews). My only surprise/complaint was the color of the "stainless steel" door. It looks almost bronze to me and it certainly isn't even close to matching the other stainless steel appliances in our kitchen, or the other pics in various reviews on Amazon. I have written Whynter customer support to see if I am missing something. The product seems well made and as long as it continues to keep my food frozen I am very satisfied.

This is a great small freezer! There is quite a lot of space inside and it is perfect for an overflow freezer and to store large items. If necessary, you can remove the shelves for really large items but I was able to easily fit three 7lbs bags of ice in the top shelf alone. It is easy to move, easy to level using the leveling legs, very easy setup and starts getting cold within minutes of plugging it in. I did a lot of research before I purchased and I highly recommend this one.

Excellent mini-freezer. I looked long and hard for one with a manual defrost - specifically so temperatures wouldn't fluctuate as much. Also bought because I read reviews that it holds temps down to -11f - and it certainly does. Despite packing the freezer with a lot of things, it still holds the temp nicely. I have two thermometers inside it that transmit temperature data to my phone - so I have a log of it's performance. It's been excellent so far. Came packaged nicely and was easy to setup. Highly recommend for anyone needing a small freezer with consistent performance.

I live in a small place and fits perfect enough to keep it inside a cabinet. It's super cold, freezes all type of food: shrimp, fish, meat, chicken, beverages, etcetera. I would recommend it always.

Simple, small, basic freezer-only little thing. Perfect for what I needed it for (chilling martini glasses & shaker, storing coffee, popcorn & making ice). The lock is interesting but doesn't have to be installed if you don't want to. Easy to change the door swing. Readily accessible temperature control. A nice little quiet unit. Comes with rather silly and not all that useful little ice cube trays.

I get bad migraines and having to go downstairs to get an ice pack (especially in summer) was becoming difficult. This freezer is nice and compact and means that I have ice packs at the ready whenever a migraine strikes.

Great fridge for office.
