We ordered a muzzle for our pit tie/lab mix, after measuring, I ordered the size 4. The muzzle was a little to tight and didn’t fit around her head. I contacted the company and they immediately sent out a bigger size at no charge!!! The new one fits much better and we couldn’t be happier. This is her first time trying a muzzle and we’re still in the introduction with treats faze, but I will update when we get her adjusted. As far as quality goes, it seems sturdy and the fabric that goes around her head feels quality made. Super happy with our purchase and even happier with the customer service.

My male Rottie is 21 months old and a sweet gentle dog. He weighs 100 pounds of pure muscle. The only time a muzzle is NECESSARY is for trips to the vet when nail clipping is needed. He is NOT A FAN!Now, about the muzzle. Without hyperbole I say it’s perfect for my guy.There are two features that set this muzzle in a category of its own. One is the loop on the top the other is the loop on the bottom. These two loops serve as stabilizers and anchors. The collar doesn’t come with it but I HIGHLY recommend buying a collar and use it. I bought the one that fits the mini Educator e collar. That collar works well because it’s the right width and the entire collar has punched holes making it very easy to adjustAs for the fit?I did exactly as instructed I measured him and ordered a size 4.To get him use to it I put a little oil on the inside front so he would want to put his nose in to lick it off. It worked every time. I did this for a couple of weeks not every day but about every other. Also, I hung it by the back door and every time we’d go out I’d lift it and say want a treat? Then I’d give him a treat if he touched his nose to it. I bought it in May 2022.I had him wear it around the house and on a couple of walks to see if it was comfortable.He was fine in every way.lToday June 8,2022 I used it for the first time for a vet visit for nail clipping. It worked like a charm. It was strong enough when he resisted, fit very well ( he couldn’t bite or bark) and he wore it comfortably for 4 hours ( supervised the entire time). He was able to breathe freely without stress or discomfort. The vet and I agree it was a major success!I can’t say how durable it is because I’ve only had it a month.I hope this helps others. I had a difficult time finding the perfect muzzle. After buying and trying others THIS ONE is by far the top WINNER!

Meet Lovely Leah. She's the best dog we've ever had - when it's just us (2) and her. You'd never know it from this pic, but she's extremely fear reactive to other animals and all people - sounding and acting like Kujo.While she's never actually bit anyone, when we're out in public, going to the vet or any other situation involving other people, she wears a muzzle.I bought this muzzle and another brand, in 2018. The other brand was stiffer and wider than needed for her nose. It didn't "fit" right and I couldn't adjusted it so it did.This muzzle is a bit shorter in length and is softer, so it molds easier. Leah doesn't like it but she lets me put it on readily and tolerates it well. She did manage to paw it off once (before I realized it wasn't quite snug enough) but without pawing, it stays in place, even when holding her for vet shots (NOT FUN).I do wish the loop was able to slip over her martingale instead of having to use a regular collar. But, I don't see any way that could be engineered so I'm very very happy with this muzzle.

The media could not be loaded.  12:30pm He hates me I’m sure. He has awful separation anxiety. Chews up whatever is the last thing you touch or anything he can reach jumping on counters when I leave. My dog is 75lbs and a pure bred Weimaraner. The measurements said size 4 would fit but his nose looks funny. Not sure size 5 work better cause his head is small. I put it on him to adjust tightness and his head so small it’s all the way tight. He can eat treats but hasn’t tried drinking. I’ll update later.Update! It’s been about a week or so, still wear it when I leave he cannot chew up remotes or toys. Got ahold of ziplock and shredded it.

There are lots of different muzzles silicone muzzles aren't my favorite but did good for my pit/bully mix who became agressive and needed to be behaviorally euthanized.I personally have a metal Bronze Dog(i think thats the brand) for my GSD its good but he can't drink from it. While in this basket silicone muzzle he could.
