So unless you allow extra drying time some colours - especially red - can reactivate and bleed into new colours painted on them. That said with care these are excellent for batch painting and cranking out lots of figures in a short time, with great results for the average painter like me. There is a knack to pushing paint around rather than traditional painting, but once you get it speed and quality improves. I have used GW contrast paints whose are similar and have a wider colour range but are twice the cost and for my purposes give me much the same results.
