As promised
I don't even have a boat! By my friend does, and we use the boat a lot. We slapped a couple of these on and kept the already trustworthy lines in place on our first sail. Upon docking, the Sportneer's were easy to use, really comfortable to touch and throw, and gave us the trust we needed to dock on that windy day. We've been mostly out in lesser winds, but they did great that day and have been fine for our other trips. They're everything we need, at a great value for what I feel is solid quality with no wear issues so far. We did get a nice complement on them from a dock hand who asked where we got them. Amazon baby... :-)

Good Rope, Useful for General Purposes, 7500 lbs "Max" Breaking Strength Claim is Misleading
This is a set of four (4) nylon 15 foot long, 1/2 inch diameter, dock lines. It comes with 2 handy storage bags. The ropes have a 12 inch roped eyelet on one end. These ropes are targeted towards marine applications, although I'm intending on using them for mostly general purpose tasks; such as pulling vehicles, pulling down trees, securing a load to a vehicle, etc. These ropes should serve those purposes very well. Quality appears very good. The ropes hang freely, there's no coil memory and they're easy to coil back up and store in the bags. One concern: The ad states that the lines have a "maximum" breaking strength of 7500 pounds (see seller's graphic). Maximum? Wouldn't we want to know the "minimum" breaking strength? If the "maximum" breaking strength is 7500 pounds, does that mean they could break at 500 pounds (which is below the "maximum" of 7500 pounds). I checked other ads for 15 foot, 1/2" diameter, nylon ropes and they were fairly consistently rated at: Working load limit: 968 pounds, Breaking Strength: 4840 pounds. I checked other ropes on line and they were similar which seems more in line of what I would expect for a 1/2' diameter rope. I took off a star due to the lack of clarity by providing a "maximum" breaking strength which really doesn't mean anything.Overall, it's a good rope, should function well and has my recommendation, just be careful about the load on the rope, do a test pull first if you're pulling something heavy or use multiple ropes.

Great quality lines that should last a long time.
These are great quality lines that I expect to last a long time. The vented bags are a nice inclusion - so you don't end up with any mildew. The spliced eyelet are well-made and holds fast. I have no complaints.

Super nice rope.
This is really nice soft, supple rope. I intend to use this for it's stated purpose, keeping an average sized fishing boat tied to my dock. I'll only need 2 pieces of the rope to do that, but having extra is great. Comes nicely packed in a box with 4 rolls of neatly tied rope in it. I can't speak about the rope's durability for more serious purposes since I won't be using it for that, but I have no doubts that it's strong. I like soft rope like this that won't hurt your hands or scrape the paint off your boat while using it. Nothing bad to say here.
