These candies are definitely sour to taste! It has an interesting outer core that’s essentially tasteless until you bite to get in the middle that packs quite a punch. The price per bag was decent enough. These didn’t last long in our house!

Easily concealable into a new container... My l/o will never know what this delectable sweet holds in its core.I lay in wait until my l/o strikes!Not today I think to myself as I am hesitant that she may like the candy....SWEET REVENGE! as she spits it out onto the floor.The candy was a trick! Absolutely sour once that thin layer of sweetness is gone.In all, the takeaway..Great flavor which starts out sweet and then gets sour.10x greater than sour patch kids imo, and they don`t stick to your teeth for 3 hours.My new favorite candy!

I bought these a few days ago and they came in pretty fast. The last time I had these were a couple of years ago from a friend. They tasted more sweet than sour then. I found these and remembered the sweet sensation it left in my mouth. I opened one of the packs and inside it smelled like gumballs. I tried one and biting the shell felt more like biting into a mini jawbreaker than what I remember. Eating it, it was way more sour than the ones my friend gave me years ago. I'm not comfortable with the jawbreaker feeling, but personally, the taste of the shell is my favorite part. If you are a fan of Sweet, then sour candies, I'd highly recommend Sour Smog Balls.

This candy is my absolute favorite Perfect Blend of sweet when you first put it in and the best sour in the middle. I love sour candy and I've never been able to find sour enough that this is perfect.

I could not handle these! LOL They were so sour that I couldn't even eat them. I guess their mission was accomplished since they have an actually very sour product. A lot of "sour" candy is hardly sour at all. Honestly, that is how I thought these were going to be. I was so wrong! No false advertising here. I let my family and friends tey them as well and they all said that these were the most sour candy they had ever tasted. I gave 3 stars because they were too sour but maybe that isn't fair since they were as sour as advertised. Just beware before purchasing these, while they taste really good at first, the sour is going to kick in quickly and be extreme! Don't say you weren't warned!

Recently went to 5 below that just opened in town and found smog balls. Haven’t had them in years. That bag tore my mouth up with sourness. And was 2$ so that getting my gears rolling and I wanted more. Thought 3 bags 10$ eh could be better but convenience. I have since eaten 2 1/2 bags and they’re not sour. More like eating lemon heads and you get your occasional zinger. Long story short go to the store if you can in your local areas.
