good quality, magic experience
The coins are metal - not plastic like some of the other coin dig kits available. There is a nice selection of treasure. A key, plastic gems and some real gems. We used this at the end of a scavenger hunt around the house and the boys 6 &9 were so excited to find it. The design is really cool, the block is a good size providing lots of digging, not just a few whacks. it took about half an hour of digging for them to get everything out. I recommend having a bowl of water nearby, to soak it in as that helps to keep dust to a minimum and makes it easier to out the treasure, A bit on the pricey side, but we enjoyed it and would recommend.

Fun activity but missing a part
This was a great activity that entertained my little one for ages. Unfortunately, one of the treasures (the skull) was missing which was a bit annoying.

Was good but missing two of the gems
This was a whole load of fun for my son. He loved bashing and digging to get the gems out was a little disappointing that two of them wasn't in there but we have ok with the gems he did get as his gem mad.

Poor
Treasure chest was broken on arrival, digging tools were falling apart on use.

Fun but messy!
My son really enjoyed doing this, but the instructions fail to mention that you’re supposed to soak the chest for 2 mins as shown in the photos here. Also, the images show that there is a treasure chest to keep as does the box, and there is no treasurer chest!

It's really dusty
We got it as a gift for a 6 year old. Looked great with the golden chest and the wooden tools. We started hammering on this massive block of fine plaster. Not easy for a 6 year old. Kid loved it though.BUT we did it indoors and I would not recommend it! Do it outdoors, if you have to have it! Plasters turnes it really small pieces (which fly everywhere, wear googles! We had a piece flying into kids eye)) and fine dust which goes into the air, settles on everything (kid, adult, furniture in the whole room) and even worse goes into your lungs. I'm slightly out of breath since we did this half an hour ago. It doesn't feel nice, I can tell you that.Kid was happy with the 12 pieces of treasure: 3 metal coins, 5 plastic stones,a key, plastic skull and 2 stones (one was supposed to be a pyrite, but looks more like granite to me)Don't think this is worth your money or your breath nor your time you spend cleaning this up. Can't recommend
