This is a great cover
We got it for a Dodge Ram with a camper shell to protect against pack rats here in the desert. It is plenty big and has a zipper at the bottom (between the silver cover and the black weighted sand bottom portion. We have not used that feature. It is very heavy and takes two people to put it on/take off. We have had it for a couple of months and are very happy with the protection it provides against the elements and the critters.

Impossible to use alone...
This thing is kind of brilliant, but also kind of awful. I live in a windy place so the idea of a weighted cover for my midsized van that won't blow off in the wind is very appealing. The problem is that it weighs 60 lbs and is impossible for me, as a smaller woman, to put on my van alone. 60 lbs doesn't sound like that big of a deal, but when it's dispersed around the edges of a giant blanket it's extremely unwieldy. The first time I put it on my van it took me over an hour. It was like wrestling a giant, overweight octopus. Trying to get it up over the top was nearly impossible and because it kept sliding off onto the ground where it picked up a lot of sand and gravel that then was dragged over the surface of my van under the weight of the thing. As it is it's kind of unusable for me. I'm trying to figure out how to mount a winch system in my carport so I can more easily put it on my van and to keep it from laying on the ground in a heap collecting gravel to scratch my paint. If you have two strong people it would be easier to put on (but it still wouldn't be easy), but a small woman alone trying to install this thing is impossible.

Heavy (75Lb) SUV cover good for long term storage
The REVIEW CoverSEAL HEAVY DUTY TRUCK COVER by my measure weighs approximately seventy-five pounds (75Lbs). Manufacturer measure is 230” Long x 80” Wide x 80” High. My experience, too much for me to handle by myself.Based on my use, the cover is not for daily or for frequent use. It is best used for long term storage. One person cannot handle the cover for two reasons. First, weight and second, scratch factor attempting to adjust cover on vehicle. The material is heavy but pliable. My attempt to put this on high vehicle by myself was frustrating and wasted effort. By the time I would get one side up it would slide off. I quickly gave up until an additional person could provide assistance. This fact eliminates daily use for me.Three Star or Four Star…. I am not sure. Four Star for cover itself but Three Star for the use factor. My opinion, this type of cover is good for long term storage of vehicle that is moved occasionally. Therefore I am going in that direction with ……. Four ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars.Thank you for looking at my review. It’s hoped you found this review valuable, informative and helpful. 😃

Heavy-Duty Rodent-Protected Truck Cover For The F-150
I have a Ford F150 pickup I have to park outside here in the forest. It’s a constant battle to keep the rodents from getting up into the engine compartment and so on, making a mess and chewing up wires, so I was intrigued that this heavy-duty cover has weighted bottom edge that can keep them out.I order to fit over the truck and for that tubular weighted edge to make good contact with the ground on all sides, the cover must be reasonably heavy, and it is. It weighs 60 lbs. That’s a good thing and also a challenge. It took 2 of us to spread it over the vehicle, starting at the front and working it back on each side. They sell a short bed and long bed version. My truck has an 8 ft bed, with the cab being “crew,” but the short back seat. I didn’t know which version to order, so I took a tape measure and checked from front bumper to back. It was a few inches under 230-inches, so I ordered the short-bed version. It fits like it was custom made for the truck! The upper portion of the cover is lightweight, sun-reflective material, and the lower panel is heavier weight, and features that patented tube-like collar around the bottom. We get wind storms around here, and the cover stays put.The upper part protects my paint job from the scorching sun, and the bottom edge keeps the animals out. It also protects from spiders and other insects, and since we get Black Widows around here, that’s a plus. Of course, fabric may not stand up to sharp teeth, so I also spray around the bottom with real peppermint oil mixed with water, and beneath the vehicle, I place cans with absorbent plastic beads, also dosed with peppermint oil. Rodents don’t just dislike peppermint oil, they’re allergic. This is doing such a better job of protecting my pickup out there in the elements! Several hundred dollars for a truck cover is not cheap, but then again, compared to the cost of a garage, or of having to repair wiring eaten by rats, it’s a bargain.

Fit Good
I recently parked my 2500hd due to diesel prices. We live in the woods and if a vehicle sits too long it becomes a beacon for rodents. I generally use sprays to keep them away but wanted a little more protection form truck. My truck is a 2001 Chevy 2500HD Crew Cab and hot fit good. It feels well made and I have no doubt it will keep out the rodents. I would buy it again. 5 STARS
