Nice Functional Set-up
Very satisfied. Would purchase again. For me I used a separate bracket from previous set-up for the kick down cable. I also switched the Philips head screws for bolts. (6mm I believe. Way easier to do adjustments) I also notched out my throttle lever for the bracket that the springs attach to. It allowed the springs not to be pulled upward at full throttle. My carb is an FST (1st generation) which is built very similar to Holley carbs so my modifications may not be yours. I also did not use the spacers on the carb studs to raise it up. I didn't figure out what the spacers could have been used for until I was done. They may have eliminated the need for me to notch out the throttle lever. No instructions were included. Live and learn. Overall I'm happy with this setup. ✌️🇺🇸

Works Great!
Works Great! Had to cut a slot in one end for the throttle cable to go through so I didn't have to change cable end. Seems well built and easy to assemble.

Change out the Hardware!
The item was used on a Holley 4779 (750DP) and fit with no issues. However, I did end up changing out the M6 screws for M6 bolts to make adjustment of the return spring and throttle cable tension easier. The screws it comes with are pan head and have an odd JIS slot in them that will fool many into thinking they are Phillips. They are not. A #2 Phillips will cam out and not let you tighten it down. Worse, since they are on the underside, they will not be adjustable when installed on the car unless you have some weird JIS right angle screwdriver. Even then, you will not be able to tighten them enough. With the bolts, I can now use a 10mm wrench and maybe even a 3/8 to adjust it. The other minor quibble I have is that the swiveling spring bracket installs in the large hole in the carb's throttle arm and it is metal on metal. I would have preferred to see a nylon bushing used in this location to minimize wear on the components. The aluminum bracket will be the loser here, so at least it will not cause much wear to the carb, but a nylon bushing would be a better option. Also, this is not anodized, but painted with a textured paint or maybe powder coated. It is not a bad look, but if you are expecting anodizing, be prepared to be disappointed. Then again, it is not an expensive part, and I am overall pleased with it.

Throttle bracket
It’s a nice looking throttle cable bracket. I think it will work as well as it looks. But it’s for a long term project that’s not running yet.
