It's a block
I purchased this paper for use with water-soluble colored pencils. Since I am not familiar with watercolor paper I didn't realize that the paper is sold in packages of individual sheets or in blocks. This package is a block which means that the sheets (15 of them) are sealed together along the sides. To remove a sheet you have to use an x-acto knife to break the seal. I found this very difficult to do and ended up damaging the sheets. If you are purchasing watercolor paper and want individual sheets, be sure to look for a package that is not a block.

Perfect for colored pencil drawing...
I use the hot press for colored pencil work, it can withstand erasing if you are careful and I am able to layer and blend beautifully. I love the ready available sizes and even use the small sample size for experimenting and referencing my color blends for different projects. I punch a hole in the top corner and have a ring of them that is quickly referenced for all my favorite color blends, and you can use both sides for these samples. Recently I have been working on botanicals and will continue to work with this paper, I am so spoiled by the quality and character of this paper!

Not 10x14 pad
Stonehenge paper is great. However, and it seems I’m not the only one, what I got was a 7x10 pad not the 10x14 pad. Was told this would be take. Down but it’s still here. If you want 7x10 then you’ll be very happy!

Great paper/avoid taping the edges
Really nice paper. Be wary of taping off the edges. Try a delicate tape or you’ll rip the paper. I use this for gouache and watercolor and get really nice results. I prefer blocks and this is a perfect size.

Paper is NOT 10 x 14 as mentioned in header. It’s actually 7x10. Very misleading and confusing!
Not 10 x 14 inches as it says in the description above product!!!

High quality watercolor paper at a reasonable price
I'm really enjoying painting on this paper. The hot press is so smooth and paint moves and blends so easily. The lifting ability of this paper is superb, overall far better quality than the bee paper 💯% cotton paper I was using prior to this.

Great for beginners
For making homemade water color cards, this is great. Perfect size for folding in half and fitting in a standard greeting card envelope. Definitely great for this type project. For finer works of art, you'll need the name brand paper. But for this type of quick, fun projects, it's perfect. It does pill a little. Use a knife to separate the page from the others after you've finished and it's dried completely.

Unforgiving paper
This paper is a great price. But it just doesn’t hold water like it should and it shows marks and paper distress when trying to lift color.
