I have a (thicker) golden chain with a cross (real gold) but a few years ago I stepped into a taxi in Panama and while conversing with my friend on the back seat I suddenly felt a hand pushing at my neck. As I reacted I saw the perpetrator's arm through the window trying to steal my gold chain. I managed to grab it, the chain broke but luckily stayed with me, the cross (a family gift) was unfortunately stolen by this criminal. Since then I have been afraid to wear real gold or risk losing it. So I found this necklace which appears golden. I has good thickness and feels sturdy. The cross was also beautiful although a bit big for my taste. The cross has a few sharp edges, some manufacturing polishing at the edges would be advisable. I replaced the big cross with a much smaller one made of real gold which I got "blessed" in Vatican. Great value for money I must say, people like it. Now I am only afraid that if someone attempts to rip it off my neck that it would strangle me because I don't think the stainless steel may snap so easily. Great buy.UPDATE: 11 months later I have worn this, worked out sweating like a pig, showered with it, bathed with it in the pool and salty sea and it is still like new.

Wish it was water proof, mine got ruined. But if you not gonna sweat on it or get it wet it is good.

Price is right, and the quality is solid. It's a rather large cross, but that's what makes it's awesome. It's similar to what you might see on Ozzy, and, of course, that's what makes it cool.

i havnt taken this cross off for 5 years. survived countless showers, pools, pulling, tugging and daily wear. its insane how long this has lasted. best cross you can buy. i love it so much and have recommended it to friends and family!

Product seems good and constructed well. It was too big for my taste, which is why I returned it. I can only give it a Fair rating as I did not use it, but seemed good.

Beautifully made in every detail!! To look at this beautiful cross you would think it was made by a master jeweler of precious metals.

What a lovely item! Very pleased. The front is a shiney surface and the back is a more brushed finished. You actually can wear it either way and no one would be the wiser. Again for the money it's a good solid piece. I bought it for my 12 yr old son. He loves it. The finish is nice. Not too brassy or "fake" looking. I must say overall I'm impressed and so is my son. One pic is the "shiney" side & the other the "brushed" finish side.

This product has a decent weight to it. The colour is pretty orange so it really looks fake. But my son still loves it. Sadly he has only worn it 3 times since it was delivered less than a week ago and the gold colour is already rubbing off in some spots. I know I did not pay much for this item but I would lile to think the colour would last mire than a week.
