I really enjoyed it!
I really enjoyed Good Girl Complex. I had read some not so positive reviews about it and had my reservations, but decided to take a chance and I'm really glad I did.Mac isn't your stereotypical rich girl. She has a trust fund and was brought up around a lot of wealth, but she is determined to be her own entrepreneur and wasn't keen to go to college. She has a boyfriend, Preston, but she's not madly in love with him. They're just comfortable.Cooper is a townie and with his two sleeves of tattoos looks like your typical bad boy. When one evening he gets fired from his job due to a complaint by Preston, Mac's boyfriend, he is set on revenge. When he finds out that Preston has a girlfriend, him and his friends devise a plan for Cooper to seduce the unsuspecting clone and flaunt the relationship in front of Preston to cause him pain. What Cooper wasn't expecting is that the unsuspecting clone, Mac, turns out to be the opposite of what he thought and he slowly starts to fall for her. What happens when a relationship is built on a lie?! It inevitably is destined to break. There was some good chemistry between Mac and Cooper and I liked the side characters of Bonnie and Cooper's twin brother and friends. This is a standalone in a series and does end on a happy note. The one thing that would have made this book even better is to have had an epilogue, but I understand we're likely to hear more of these characters in the next book about Evan and Gen.

A fun spicy read!
Cooper and Mac are complete opposites, he’s a small town local and Mac is the daughter of a big time politician. One night a bet is made, a bet that changes everything.I really do enjoy Coop and Mac together. They have good banter and their chemistry is amazing. But there’s a lot of buildup because Mac has a boyfriend for like half of the book. We don’t like him, at all. But the cheating trope is not really my thing.Another thing I struggled with was the entire bet situation. It’s a really childish move, they’re all in their early 20’s still it just feels so wrong. Speaking of wrong, Mac’s parents and ex have some seriously messed up plans for her future. On to what I loved. The friend group is a lot of fun. Did I mention that Cooper has a twin, he’s really interesting. Daisy the golden retriever pup. Mac’s drive, she’s a businesswoman, a self made millionaire. That’s incredible.

New series
I swear, that college age drama is Elle Kennedy's forte. As I'm sure the reader is meant to, I absolutely hated the pretentious a$$ that sealed Cooper's fate. However it was also a great way to be introduced to ALL the residents of Avalon Bay, whether student or resident.I liked Cooper, Evan and their circle of friends but thought that overall, the story was fairly predictable. You could, I suppose, argue all college drama is the same lol.Not a bad start to a new series.

Boring
I read this book last year and I genuinely can't remember much about it other than the fact it's essentially like the fanfic after.

Fine
This books was okay, I am a huge fan of Elle Kennedy’s series’s off campus and Brair U but unfortunately this one was just not as good. It has the same plot as after but if after was just a bit better.Overall it was a fine book I just hope the next one has a better plot.
