Buy the hardcover - excellent content.
The paperback came with few twisted pages and inferior binding - opposite of hardcover. The explanations and mysticism were very informative. There is a private YouTube link with a video of the explanation that is very helpful.Aside from the unique postures I have yet to try, the material leading up to it / background has been most enlightening. His explanations based on life’s out of body experiences and simple explanations of how they fit into the Schema of spiritual work / energy work is absolutely invaluable for me. Until I read his out of body experiences, I did not give much credit to spirits, highly organized nature of the spiritual universe or spirits, dream experiences, etc.In addition, his “antenna” analogy of how movements and postures work like antennas that tune the body and mind to new energies / inputs - I didn’t understand the emphasis of why Yoga postures were a key Early pillar of yoga system. Previously, I thought they were for people with weak bodies - but now I know yoga postures are actually to tune in to higher frequencies that prepare the mind / clear energies for meditations, etc. just this understanding alone was well worth the $30 cost of book. (Although I would not have mulled about it for an hour, if it was $10 in kindle format lol).Excellent buy - thank you Jason for shedding a great light on this topic and connecting many dots! Be safe and well!

Great Read
I got this book out of curiosity of how Egyptians meditate. Honestly this book will tell you that and so much more. If your interested in Egyptian mysticism or meditation, then I recommend this book.

This guy knows things.
Didn't know what to expect from this book. Most books I've read on this subject have been so complex I would just zone out. This book however made it so simple I can't wait for the authors next book.

Spend $30 for a book and get it damaged?
I am someone who loves books, and although I think that $30 for a book is outrageous, I should at least get it in good condition. I could have bought a used book but I did not. What is the point of buying a new damaged book?

A wonderful book written by an amazing author
Jason Quitt has done a tremendous amount of research to write this book. The material is based on his own out of bodies experiences, meditations , past life regressions , Shamanism studies and his knowledge of QiGong. The whole presented in a very accessible manner .

Just not enough explanation and details of the content of the postures....
So , I am an avid Qi Gong practitioner and now venturing into the use of the Egyptian rods to help with the movement, play of energy in the body. When I saw this book advertised I was really hoping for something a bit more in depth but i feel this book just falls short, it gives you just so much and then just not enough. For instance, when he talks about picking up the rods for the first time at the health show and feeling the surge of energy he fails to let you know what the rods are made of, what is the stone used for the rods, then on the page dedicated to rods , Pharaoh Cylinders page 162, again, all he says is they are a combination of copper and zinc and filled with various minerals, crystals etc and they are also made of stone ??? but what exactly are they, they are important tools and there is very little information given. The Salute to the sun postures again fall short of guiding you through what one should actually be visualising in the form of energy movement while moving in the postures, where is the direction and flow supposed to be concentrated during the movement. If he is making so many parallels to Qi Gong, then one needs to be more focused on the flow and visualisation as during QiGong, the knowledge of mind and flow of Qi is vitally important ...No Visualisation of the FLOW of energy ....not enough info here i'm afraid. All in all , reasonably informative, not enough depth, very surface but a fun , short little book to wet the interests. Would love to have had more depth .
