Sitting on the beach and discussing with my friend how long ago I bought this amazing umbrella. It’s been three years. Just out of curiosity I read some of the one star reviews. I’ve never had any of those problems. Absolutely love this umbrella. I would purchase it again in a heartbeat.

I am absolutely in love with this umbrella! Not only is it gorgeous and vibrant enough to spot from a mile away, but it actually holds up like a champ. We had some breezy beach days, and while other umbrellas were doing backflips down the shore, this 7.5ft beauty stayed perfectly put and kept us in total, stylish shade. If you want to be the coolest (and prettiest) setup on the sand, this is it!

***UPDATE- it’s been a year & this umbrella is still amazing. Keeps us cool from the sun 🌞. Don’t forget to use a marker to mark the line where you need to have pole in the ground. Do that when you receive your item so when you are in the blinding sun on the beach (yes it’s very bright to see) you will know exactly how far to get it in the ground. Helped us tremendously. END OF UPDATE*** Not heavy to carry & easy to slip in/out of bag. Please read the directions unlike my husband and myself. Our whole umbrella went flying across the beach because this was our first day using it and the winds were very high. I will call this the test period. Haha! Luckily, nothing got bent out of shape and no one got hurt. However, we then realized we put the umbrella together, thinking we knew how to do it without the directions, but the truth is you can’t see it on the white screw and piece that goes directly into the sand, but it has to go pretty far deep in there there because there is a line Just under the little twisty knob that tightens it. If you don’t put it in deep where the line is, it will fly out of the sand hole. Also, we wound up, angling the tilt part of the umbrella to keep it safe from getting bent. I saw several umbrellas out on the beach and several of them were flipping completely inside out. This one stayed strong. Also, I will mention the fact that this one has UV protectant shield that’s built in helps tremendously for staying cool in this heat. Now that I know how to use it properly I’m really enjoying it.

Recently took to the beach and it was the perfect size. Lightweight and easy to get in the sand.

These are some of the best umbrellas that we’ve ever purchased. The size is great, the colors are attractive, the base is solid and comes with a removable lever to help drive it into the ground. It not only tilts, but the upper section will lower all the way down into the bottom section so that if the sun is setting and getting very low on the horizon, you can continue to lower the umbrella down. There are, however, four minor things that I wish were different. First, in situations where you leave the umbrella on a beach at your home overnight, then you are going to be taking it down each night and if you’ve lowered it into the bottom section, it’s hard to know how far to raise it back up so that the umbrella will fully close. Second, I wish the strap to tie it up was about an inch or two longer, so I could find it easily rather than rifling through all the folds of the umbrella. Third, the Velcro tabs are very tiny; a little bit more length to that would secure it better and more easily. Fourth, the release button doesn’t really free the slider to close the umbrella easily.

I think I bought this one because it was voted best by Forbes. I saw some negative reviews but, overall this seemed best for the money and sturdiness. BOY, AM I GLAD! Very light and easy to tote, as well. First, I've never used umbrellas on the beach, mostly because growing up in Florida I opted for less sand, more pool. So, deciding to spend a day on the beach and not be miserable, shade is where it's at! This umbrella provided plenty of shade for two people! I saw other smaller umbrellas and they all just looked pitiful and useless. So flimsy and cheap. Second, of course, I picked one of the more windy days at the beach, it was blowing around 9-11 mph in Cocoa Beach. There were so many people around me fighting with these little sand bag tie down sail shades! It was comedic. And those shades only provided maybe four square feet of shade! Then the other people with inferior umbrellas were having their umbrella ribs collapse under the strain or be turned inside out! I sat there and watched group after group finally give up and leave. All while I sat comfortably under my sturdy, wide, shade giving umbrella. The only other umbrellas that didn't move besides mine, were the paid ones offered by the beach service. Finally, the temperature difference under my umbrella was amazing! Coupled with the breeze, I was having a wonderful day! So many people came and went with just a towel. They couldn't handle the 97 degree Florida sunshine! I spent the whole day in comfort! Definitely recommend. I don't write a lot of reviews, but this one is a winner.

Originally I bout a Shibumi for the beach, but 2 days before we left we learned the beach didn't allow that, you had to have a standard umbrella. So we found these and ordered them. I was extremely impressed with the quality. It has the ground screw thing that helps keep it in place, then a bar that goes in and then the umbrella goes in. It allows you to tilt it also. While I will likely use the Shibumi the most because the whole family can get under it, this would be perfect for 1-2 person beach day when you don't want a huge tent.

L’ombrellone sembra di buona fattura, comoda la sacca e leggero, molto ampio e sembra solido. Peccato che abbi un difetto ai raggi che non sono perfettamente assemblati.

This umbrella worked great for keeping the sun off us during hot days while camping with friends. In fact, everybody wanted to sit under it!! I love the vibrant colors. It is easy to set up and take down. We ended up scrapping it to the picnic table, you really need specific ground to drill it into the ground. But if you have that, this is great!

The umbrella is very beautiful, hence the 2 stars. But, the sand screw is small and flimsy and does nothing to help hold it up, the handles are also flimsy and do not work well. I would give it 1 but I love the colours. I would not recommend this umbrella. We need to purchase a more stable sand screw to make it work even in a slight wind. Disappointed :(
