These are strong and shoot well from a marker/paint ball gun. Use thoughtfully. Not for children.
If one of these explodes within even 20 feet of a person or animal that person or animal will be highly motivated to leave the area.If you hit a person or animal directly they will be somewhere between slightly disabled (bear) to completely incapacitated (most people).These are great for deterring bears and other critters from your garbage or other parts of your property that you don't want them around and will easily incapacitate a person.Just be warned that whoever or whatever you shoot with these directly will potentially be in some serious pain so do not do that thoughtlessly. Using these for instance to try and scare off geese or other lawfully protected animals or a neighborhood dog or cat would not only be cruel and unethical it would also likely be illegal. As would shooting somebody with these who did not present a clear and immediate threat to your safety.Just because they are non-lethal does not mean that you won't get fined or even go to jail if you misuse them so be judicious in how you use these.And be aware that the gas/powder from these easily spreads in the wind so don't shoot one of these upwind from your neighbors house or a public space.

Very Effective Pepper Projectiles
Cannot imagine getting shot with one of these. Just handling them without some protection, i.e. safety glasses and a mask, can be somewhat unpleasant. Tried loading my magazine without those and wound up having to use Byrna's decontamination wipes to eliminate the tears and runny nose. Hopefully never have to use them on an aggressor, but would obviously stop someone without lethal and legal consequences

Everything Byrna does is high quality. These guys will envelop the target in a cloud of disabling gas.Keep away from kids and do not eat them.

Be careful, pepper balls can leak inside of your gun recommend not storing them in gun for long periods of time

It's right on target
The whole byrna launcher system is amazing. Fortunately I have not had to use it in a self defense situation but have launched a lot of practice balls through it including the pepper balls. Accurate and lots of scent.
