MX Cleaner

These ARCTIC MX Cleaner wipes are a game-changer. I've been building and upgrading PCs for years, and my least favourite part has always been cleaning off old, stubborn thermal paste. It's messy and often requires a lot of isopropyl alcohol and elbow grease. These wipes make the entire process incredibly simple, clean, and fast. The two-step system is brilliant. The "Cleaner" wipe (Step 1) dissolves even the most caked-on thermal compound with ease, lifting it right off the CPU or GPU. The "Purifier" wipe (Step 2) then removes any remaining residue and prepares the surface perfectly for a new application. The wipes are a good size, lint-free, and don't leave any fibres behind. With 20 individually packed sets (40 wipes in total), this kit offers fantastic value for money. It's more than enough for dozens of builds and upgrades. I used one set to clean both my CPU and my old graphics card, and the results were flawless. My temperatures have been great since reapplying new paste on the perfectly prepped surfaces. If you build, upgrade, or maintain PCs, do yourself a favour and get these. They're an essential, time-saving tool. Highly recommended!

Picked up the Arctic MX Cleaner Wipes (40 pieces) when I was prepping to delid my toasty Intel i7-7700, and honestly, I’m really glad I did. If you've ever scraped off Intel's sorry excuse for thermal paste under a heat spreader, you’ll know it’s not exactly a clean process. These wipes made it so much easier. They’re super easy to use, good quality, and cut through the gunk without needing half a bottle of isopropyl and a pile of cotton buds. I used just a couple to clean up the die and the IHS, and everything was spotless, ready for some real thermal paste this time around. What’s really handy is that they’re individually sealed, so you’re not opening a whole pack and watching them dry out over time. You can stash a few in your toolbox or drawer and they’ll be ready whenever you need them. They keep for ages, and you’ll always have a clean one when the next messy job comes up. They’re not just great for CPU jobs either – I've since used them for cleaning up greasy thermal pads, heatsinks, old paste, and even some general-purpose grime on electronics. Basically, anywhere you’d normally use IPA and a cloth, these do the job faster and neater. In short: they save time, reduce mess, and make life a whole lot easier. Highly recommended if you're doing any kind of PC maintenance, delidding, or just want to keep things clean without turning your workspace into a chemical spill.

Works amazingly well with one carful wipe over the cpu all the paste was removed. Could not recommend any other method, great product at a great price. Only downside is the very strong smell the wipe itself gives off but other than that it’s amazing

Cleans thermal paste well, only issue is it stinks out the whole place once you use them so maybe use them in a ventilated area.

I had a couple of these wipes in a pack of thermal paste I used when switching my heatsink in my PC, and they work incredibly well at cleaning off old thermal paste. Lint free, convenient, and fast: so good that I had to order a full pack for my husband and I, in case we needed to do PC maintenance. One caution, though - these have a citrus-like smell that is *incredibly strong* and lingers. It's mostly pleasant, but very powerful, and even tossing a used wipe in the bin will give off the smell for quite some time. Still wholly recommend, but be aware of that as it could be overwhelming to people with sensitive noses.

This is crucial if you are re applying paste, definitely no brainer. Paste just comes off easily and leaves clean chip surface for the new application. Be careful of the smell though, really burns your lung if not well aerated

Worked great! Easy to use just kept having to fold it over to wipe the thermal paste off. Used two pieces, one for the cpu and one for the cooler. It does smell very strong but it's definitely not a bad smell.

J'ai utilisé ces lingettes hier soir pour enlever de la pâte thermique sur mon processeur et mon AiO Arctic. En fait, une seule lingette: elle m'a permis de nettoyer le processeur puis l'AiO sans problème, car le produit est très efficace et reste humidifié longtemps. Une première passe pour enlever le gros, une seconde pour nettoyer les grosses traces restantes et une dernière pour bien nettoyer le reste. Parfait! Le seul souci, c'est l'odeur forte de citron (du limonène en fait), mais bon, Arctic annonce que c'est pour préserver l'environnement qu'ils utilisent une huile essentielle naturelle et biodégradable, et ainsi, ne masquent pas l'odeur. Donc, on pardonne! (surtout vu l'efficacité pour le prix!). Merci Arctic!

I've been using Arctic MX Cleaner for years, but I have to say the new formula/new method is a game-changer. The old formula was okay but strong smell and it could be a bit finicky. With a new product , It's so much easier to use than every before! The Wipes are gentler on surfaces, and they dry instantly, leaving no streaks or residue behind. I can just wipe and go - no more fuss, no more mess. Highly recommended ! P.S I've even started using them on my kitchen hood and yes, I know it's not exactly what they were designed for...but you get what you pay for!

Compré una caja de estas toallitas porque me gusta la calidad de los productos de la marca. He usado, y uso, otros de sus artículos como sus distintas calidades de pastas térmicas y un ventilador para CPU, siempre con muy buenos resultados. Sobre estas toallitas hay que decir son muy buenas pero también tienen un punto bastante malo. Por un lado son muy eficaces retirando la pasta y limpiando a fondo cualquier resto de pasta y suciedad, para esta misión principal son realmente eficaces. Disipa bien y rápido y arrastra y diluye en el acto tanto la pasta térmica seca como la que aún no lo está. Su punto negativo es que desprenden un olor insufrible. Créeme, huelen realmente mal. Aunque anuncian que tienen aroma a limón dejan un pestazo persistente a disolvente industrial barato muy molesto que permanece durante bastante tiempo en la casa. Además, son muy tóxicas y ya advierten que pueden provocar erupciones en la piel. Se aconseja manipular con guantes y mascarilla y usarlas en una habitación bien ventilada o, si puedes, en el exterior. Eso sí, con una toallita basta para limpiar a fondo ambas superficies de un procesador/disipador o su equivalente en una tarjeta gráfica. Como máximo he llegado a usar dos toallitas para no tener que doblarla varias veces cuando cambié la pasta de la tarjeta gráfica. Se podría decir pues que la caja puede servir como mínimo para al menos 30 usos. Cuando compré esta caja de 40 unidades costaba unos 12 euros. Por el precio que tiene ahora es una buena compra. Pese a su desagradable y molesto olor, su eficacia para retirar la pasta y limpiar el entorno las convierten en una opción muy recomendable. Seguramente volveré a comprarlas cuando las agote.

These things are a life saver & I do recommend. HOWEVER, the smell is VERY strong and can last quite a while if you are working in a room or place with no windows or proper ventilation. I have had to keep my doors and windows open for some hours to clear out the smell.

Ho acquistato le salviette detergenti Arctic MX Cleaner per rimuovere la pasta termica dal mio processore e sono rimasto soddisfatto del loro risultato. Le salviette sono facili da usare e hanno rimosso completamente la vecchia pasta termica dal mio processore senza lasciare residui. Tuttavia, ho notato che queste salviette hanno un forte odore chimico che potrebbe non piacere a tutti.
