(It's two channel, not four channel as the description states.) Wish I knew what chip was being used, maybe I'll look inside later. There's a bit of noise floor. Bluetooth works great, including long-range use and next/prev controls. FM radio is fairly strong reception if not perfectly clear, but there's no presets--you have to accept switching between the auto-set stations. Lights on the front are in annoying demo-mode until music with bass is cranked up, then they respond to the music. Wish I could keep the latter while disabling the former, but you can clip the internal wires to fully disable this. The cheesy remote is low quality and has it's own volume control that operates within the range set by the physical volume knob, and if you turn it off with the remote, the lights all stay on. The EQ button doesn't appear to do anything.
