Osprey Daylite Plus Daypack, Oasis Dream Green/Muted Space Blue, O/S

The Daylite Plus just right as lightweight, comfortable all-purpose pack for the bus or the road or the trail.We were like a lot of people when Covid hit, looking for something safe to do with the young kids. We found that day hikes were a great way to get some energy out and spend quality time together. But, they're kids. They have limits. So we're talking a couple hours. Or a few hours with a picnic in the middle. This bag has everything we need. The water bottle holders are tall and secure. We can adjust things to get a good fit for my slim wife and myself who is, a little bit larger. Note that we don't use the possibly underwhelming, but removable hip belt because it's not usually loaded real heavy. And the back sweat... it doesn't go away completely, but it's the best I've ever used in the ventilation department (I have not owned a dedicated hiking pack with a real mesh full suspension). I appreciate the assortment of pockets of different sizes and depths to keep things organized.I like the pack so much that when I needed a bag to cart my laptop and crucially, stuff, back and forth to work I got another Daylite Plus. The padded hybrid pocket accommodates the laptop perfectly. This thing is just so, so versatile. If you really want something ultra specialized to a task you may want to look elsewhere, but for my uses the Daylite Plus is absolutely perfect.

This is my second Osprey backpack. The first one has been my every day bag for the better part of a decade. I'm not getting rid of it, but needed a larger bag that could accommodate the size of my laptop without being bulky. Both my laptop and tablet (both in cases) splendidly, and the breathable back pad is fantastic for prolonged wear. Great for day trips, hikes or even just walking around an amusement park or something like that.Good quality nylon and comes traps. I definitely recommend.

I recently used this bag as my walking around backpack for a 10 day trip to multiple Scandinavian countries. I found it comfortable for a full day of walking around and exploring. The side pockets are roomy and deep enough for a 20oz Yeti water bottle. The straps are thin but substantial. I was able to attach a GoPro mount to either side and it did not move around. I like the internal organization and the outer clips make it easy to stow a jacket when the weather heats up. Would definitely recommend!

I love this pack but am slightly biased as I only use Osprey for any day/night hikes. This is a great bag to take downtown if you are shopping or exploring. I do wish there were a smaller pocked on the outside. It has held up great even being through a lot. WIll definetly continue to use Osprey Products.

Have not used extensively, but the quality appears good. Has a comfortable fit, and importantly deep pockets for holding larger water bottles

This was purchased as a gift for me, and I love it. I mainly love it for the color, but for the simplicity, as I retired my larger Patagonia backpack, while the Patagonia had a bazillion little pockets, it made it annoying to remember where you put everything in this backpack has a lot simpler structure.

I bought this for hiking, but it’s a great airplane carry-on as well. Seems very durable.

Gave as a gift! Will be used as day pack while out with the family. Nice color choices.

Like everything osprey, it is fantastic, light, durable, with the perfect amount of space. I love it and use it for everything!

Why? I bought this bag for a 6 week trip witg day hikes and city visits. I used it on the plane to store all my essentials and then as a day bag when out and about. Here are the pluses:1. Comfortable to wear - it sits quite high on my back and has adjustable straps so can get things just right!2. It’s got accessible side pockets that are the RIGHT size and shape for my water bottle.3. The pockets hold plenty - pacmac, fleece, laptop, keys,lunch!4. The zips are great quality and don’t let in the rain (well so far!) - my partner’s new backpack was leaking and had fiddly bits of material to deal with.Negatives- the open pocket on the back which I assume is a sort of stuff area doesn’t do much for me.I could have done with a small zipper pocket on the shoulder strap just to put my phone in for safety - I don’t like putting my phone in the back as I need to use it often for navigating! But I guess the side pocket worked ok.Overall this feels like a quality bag and so far Ive been really happy with it.

Fits a 15.6" laptop, has a mesh back, sternum strap and is adjustable enough to fit me at 5'3". Good buy.
