Colours of Life

Simple. Unabashed. True.
They say everyone’s story is unique, and the author’s story is so unique to her - and she has expressed it unabashedly - the highs and the lows, the disappointments as well as successes, the humor and the tragedies. Her deep rootedness in family structures and values are very evident and in this milieu of nuclear families, comes as a fresh breath of air. Many of us yearn to have a glimpse into our children’s minds but its not always possible. But Navya gives us a chance to understand what all go through a child’s mind, what bothers them, what means a lot to them, what inspires and encourages them and so on. It is a good guide for discerning parents to be aware of some of these emotions and empathise with their children. Some things are obviously purely black and white in her mind and seeing her maturity already, as she grows up she will surely understand the many greys that exist in life. So these portions in her book are not to be analysed a lot but rather to be celebrated as the purity in a child’s mind, before adulthood and its many inconsistencies take over.Wishing her a long writing journey.

Must read...
The teenager has lucidly picturised a journey through trauma of being bullied by her friends and peers , trauma of losing her grandma who's love and affection came to an end with her demise. In the first instance she had not shown any trace of anger and in the second instance a longing to relive the times spent with her grandma. She has thanked everyone of her dear and dear highlighting what impressed her about them. Her age appears immaterial in her journey of colours of life. Sentiments are touching while her emotions are classical. The titles of each chapter profoundly reflects pure sentiments and sharp observation. A sense of humour runs through from the beginning to the end. No anger against any bully but fond memories of a young 13 year old are refreshing. She is a kid with high sense of humour runs throughout. Many more fruitful creations are ahead of her in the years to come. Must read. Worth reading.👍👍👏👏👌👌

Life through the eyes of a teenage adolescent
Adolescence is the most difficult part of life growing up. But here is a wonderful book, inspired writing by a young woman who seems to have figured things out early in life, all by herself, on her own. The book is an interesting and fun 'slice of life' read for young readers, who will instantly be able to connect with it. For adults, it will bring back memories of our childhood and help us understand the next generation, our own kids. After reading the book you get the feeling that the future of this world is in good hands.

Kids grow up so fast !
The book is such a simple and pure joy to read. Even though the book is written by a teenager but it's a great read for any adult or parent alike. Navya offers a peak inside the mind of a free spirited kid growing up and it's an honest account put into words which takes a lot of courage.
