Laurence King The World of James Joyce 1000 Piece Puzzle

This puzzle appealed to me because of my love for Jane Austen’s novels. This was my first experience with this brand, and I found it to be a good quality puzzle and satisfying to work on. A few pieces had tabs or knobs that were slightly bent. Otherwise, the pieces were sturdy and clicked in place well. It’s the kind of puzzle image that presents just the right amount of challenge along with some easier sections. I would purchase this brand again.

This is a very high quality puzzle. The pieces are thick and sturdy. It comes with a huge picture of the finished puzzle on one side and the other side has the characters from different Dickens books hiding in the puzzle. I absolutely loved working on this puzzle. I even rationed my time on it, to make it last longer. I can't wait to do other puzzles in this series!

Really lovely picture, and great quality puzzle. Excellent gift for someone who's a fan of English Romanticism. On the back of the poster in the box, they also include a key to all of the references that were drawn, which was really awesome.Normally this brand has a really amazing soft matte finish, similar to Apple packaging. I have four other puzzles from this manufacturer, all with the matte finish. Oddly enough, this puzzle had a rather bland eggshell finish. The texture was one of my favorite things about this brand so that was a bit of a disappointment.The pieces fit together well. They are cut with your standard tabs/blanks pieces. It's not the most challenging puzzle because of the design, but it's still a fun one to do.The puzzle box is really nice quality and has a very mild linen finish. On the edge, they have each of the characters drawn out and labeled. The box itself doesn't have the same finish as the puzzle pieces (linen versus eggshell). It also doesn't have the full picture on the box; however, the poster insert does if you want a guide to go off of. My daughters and I are Jane Austen fans. This was such a fun puzzle to do together. We enjoyed reading about each character and locating them on the map. We of course had to get out one of the movies and have it playing in the background!

This is a fun puzzle! It was pretty easy but entertaining. I enjoyed the variety of “textures” (brick, stone, trees, grass, etc) and colors. The snap on the pieces was perfect (though they didn’t separate easily when jumbling the puzzle back into the box after I finished it). It even comes with a fun guide to find all the characters.

I really liked putting together this puzzle. The pieces fit together nicely and the picture is so vibrant and fun to look at. It contained a duplicate piece, which happens. The puzzle comes with a large picture giving you an overview of all characters in the puzzle, but there is one character (lady in blue) that is not in the key at all - and she is in the puzzle 3x. Had me scratching my head.

Beautiful puzzle and fun to put together. Loved the info about Austen- so inspired that we watched our fav Austin movie after completing the puzzle!

I haven’t done this puzzle yet but when I first saw the box alone,, I knew it was great quality. The puzzle comes with a full sized, glossy picture of the puzzle. The pieces are sturdy and pretty much dustless. The art work is lovely and the colors are vibrant. Just an all around beautiful puzzle!
