What else can I say about anything Knipex besides that they are damn well made tools. It's hard to find this quality with the market being flooded with cheap mass produced garbage that either breaks or has weak grips that wear down too quickly. While Knipex is on the pricier side, you won't be upset with the purchase and it will last you forever.Personally, I use these for bending high carbon steel wire, and these are by far the most comfortable grip of any of my other linesman pliers. I feel like I have to use less wrist motion when making bends, so a long day doesn't make my wrists ache like they used to. The wire I use is too high of a gauge for the wire cutter on these pliers so I haven't used tried to use them to cut yet, but I have nothing but confidence in the quality of these.

Knipex costs a little more than the other guy but the quality of the product makes it well worth the money. I have used it to wire an addition and it was a pleasure to work with a high quality tool. Worth every cent I paid for these.

Gave these as a gift to a new apprentice electrician. She said the old guys reported that they were well built and felt broken in already.

I used these Knipex combination pliers to replace an overhead light socket and they worked beautifully, they are very comfortable in the hand and a good size too. I can't wait to use them again. It's nice to have the piece of mind while working on electrical that you are using a pair of pliers that have been tested and are safe to use in such applications. I'll add these to my growing collection of knipex pliers and hopefully soon some of their other products such as wire cutters, strippers etc. I like that they offer their tools in a wide range of sizes for whatever job you have to do. Great tool and a good price too. Highly recommend!

I managed to lose my (very) old pair in my garage. I'll find them someday.This pair works as well, and is very well made. Just not as familiar yet.

Nice, big, heavy-duty.Steel gets some corrosion after a while.

I have used Knipex or Crescent pliers for my entire electrical career and they just feel right in my hands. Very well weighted, easy to strip wire or crimp. I shocked my self a few years ago on crescent pliers that had no finger guards while I was holding a live wire. Since then I prefer the finger grips on the Knipex pliers though they do not fit into most holders because of these guards.

These are serious pliers . No play in the jaws and everything lines up perfectly , well almost . The jaws dont quite close up on the end but this is in no way going to be detrimental to performance . A very good pair of pliers that is hard to fault .
