Just buy them
Pin point accuracy. I get ingrown hairs bad under my liners (left below knee amputee). Been searching for a good pair of tweezers and most cosmetic ones honestly suck. These are cheap, portable, and small. I LOVE THEM!

The best splinter removing tweezers of all
For over 40 years, these have been the very best tweezers for removing splinters. No others even come close. They also make great gifts.

Great inexpensive gift.
This is a great stocking stuffer gift. It works great, just like the product says. Point is sharp and grips very well. Great for your EDC carry and small enough where it's not cumbersome.

Excellent addition to your (EDC) every day carry.
Out of all of the items I have ever tried to carry on a key ring this has been the most used. This pair of tweezers is about the length of a standard sized house key. It has a very flat profile so it doesn't get in your way or become tangled with keys or other items on your key ring at all. This is a two part set, one part will stay on your key ring at all times and the other part is the tweezers itself. The system is very well thought out and designed. The tweezers half has a hole drilled into them allowing it to lock into the male end part that stays connected to the key ring very securely. There is also a lip that covers the sharp point of the tweezers so there is no worries about being stuck while carrying this with you. Speaking of the point, the point is very sharp and can pull out the smallest of splinters. Also the cut of the tweezers are angled so you are able to see exactly what you are working on without obstruction. If you are considering this product, take my advice and get it. You will find yourself using it way more then you think. Pictures attached.

Excellent dexterity for removing slivers and thorns
This may sound like a silly review, but I was blown-up by an antipersonnel mine in Vietnam many, many years ago, and I spent years afterwards digging thousands of small metal shards out of my skin as they worked their way up and out of the flesh to near the surface of the skin. I'm also a woodworker, so taken together, I've had lots of practical experience in difficult metal and wood sliver removal. You could find a better single tool out there for removing slivers than this one, but it would be some kind of professional instrument that would cost a dozen times what this tool costs. I like the fine, slightly sharpened point which, either alone or together with a needle, easily gets into the sliver cavity to chase the sliver down the path it came in, and to lift it up and extract it. I've used this model, or one similar to it, for many years and it's incomparably better than other crude instruments you might otherwise use, like eyebrow tweezers or the tweezers in your Swiss Army knife. They used to be readily available in woodworking stores years ago as you checked out at the register, but they seem to be hard to find now. I like the clip that comes with this model because it protects the tip, and it protects other things from the tip when you carry it in your pocket or first aid kit. It's easy to hold and manipulate with great dexterity. The tip grips the sliver securely during removal, and it's easily cleanable before and after use. You couldn't ask for a better instrument in a small package. These are always part of my outdoor first aid kit for removal of other nasties, like cactus spines broken off halfway down, bee stingers, and whatever else you might unexpectedly encounter in the boonies, a small fish hook being an example of what it wasn't designed for, but for which I've successfully used it. Other jobs it wasn't designed for, but at which it excels, are manipulation of the tiny screws for eyeglasses, and manipulation of small, thin, delicate objects like precisely placing stamps in a stamp book. I now have arthritis in my hands, and I find it easy to hold and use for gripping a variety of tiny things that my hands can no longer precisely manipulate without it.

Not What They Used To Be, but Still Essential.
I bought two pairs of Uncle Bill’s Sliver Grippers from a mail order catalog in the early 1990s. I used them every day. It seems there is always some little thing I need to grip. These have a sharp point and maximum control due to the short, simple shape. I lost one pair a long time ago and recently lost the other. Panic. I thought I saw the same product on Amazon and, sure enough, Uncle Bill’s Sliver Grippers are still available. These aren't the same as the originals. The grip is stiffer and the edges of the tweezer are not smooth. They haven't been finished properly. They work, but the original was better. Included in the package are metal implements that allow you to attach the tweezers to a keychain. It's no wonder that the quality has declined. These are the same price they were 25 years ago. I assume the company has kept the price low to compete with imports and sacrificed quality. The Sliver Grippers are still made in the USA.

Very Satisfied
These tweezers have already saved me at work from a nasty metal splinter. They are very convenient. Small but work well. These seem like they will last me a lifetime.
