I needed a self-contained pump/reservoir that I can use to pressurize the primary/secondary water/glycol circuits of medical equipment cooling cabinets. The built-in hose is the perfect length for most of my uses and the 1/2" hose connector made it easy for me to get barbed 1/2" male hose connectors to make special adaptors that will fit on the chiller connections. You have to open and close two valves and move the lever by hand in a certain order to purge the system and then add pressure. It works quite well for our testing operation.
