signed up for olympic distance NYC Nautica Triathlon. I needed help w/ swim portion. Ordered the dvd, which did help me improve my swim and learned all about perpetual motion in the swim leg. This was my 1st triathlon. In my opinion, I did well, overall. DVD gave me confidence and kept me cognitive of how to swim relaxed, use less energy or keeping a good pace for a longer distance, also helpful w/ sighting. all about open-water swimming. highly recommended for anyone new to the triathlon circuit or even to those that are seasoned can benefit from great T1 instructors.

I really enjoyed this video. It gives helpful tips on improving open water swimming. It was mesmerizing to watch.I highly recommend it. I don't recommend the basic videos -- freestyle and breathing.

No drills? Very little instruction! I was very disappointed. I have heard good things about TI, but I just wasted my money on this dvd. I can not believe I paid good money for this video!!! It was like watching a very long commercial. Total waste of time and money. If it was free I would not watch it. This is my first negative review. I just had to worn other people!.

It is just a over priced CD, with some commentary to accompany some pretty pictures. From past experiences with TI books I was expecting some quality instruction for my money. I was very disappointed and feel I was ripped off.

Very light on instructions- disappointing

I borrowed this from the library, and I am SO glad I didn't spend money on it! I agree with the negative comments, it was like watching a long cheesy commercial. No techniques were shared, no coaching tips. It might as well be titled "watch people swimming".

total immersion completely changed my iron man swim ,from 1hr 32, too 1 hr 7min ,using the original dvd nearly 10 years agothis latest dvd was just about ways to train ,not how to train ,very disappointed

Not really what I wanted but just ok

Seems good, but too advanced for me as a beginner and 'late starter'.. My mistake.
