difficult to pair and connect

I bought this for my mother in law's apartment. I really appreciate her caregiver, but I have heard so many stories about people who turn out to be a wolf in sheep's clothing. I wanted a way to check up on everything just in case it's needed. This is the perfect solution because it looks like a regular smoke alarm. It really blends into the rest of the room so it's not like she will feel like we are spying. It works great even in the dark. It's a great option for renters because you don't have to permanently install anything.

This camera is useful because it's also a smoke detector. It can be hidden on the wall or ceiling. It uses a 1080p high definition resolution and a 150° wide-angle lens with night vision and motion detection functions. Rotate this counterclockwise to take out the chassis. Then affix it to the ceiling or wall with a spiral knife and turn it clockwise to install the product

The size did not blend in naturally as it is smaller than typical smoke detectors. The picture quality was good however

The camera battery doesn’t last long at all. You have to recharge it everyday.

Doesn’t stay connected to network for more that 48 hours while plugged in and the picture quality is very lacking, grainy, sub par.Continually have to reset the unit.Power port is glitchy. Some times the unit had power the. Sometimes it does not.Not bad for 30 ish dollars if you want to continually maintain the unit

This things is like half the size of most detectors. The battery is horrible. The ones that sell for $100 or more are much better.
