I felt like these characters could have been more developed
While reading When Tomorrow Starts Without Me I had so many emotions. I felt fear for Kenna’s choices, hope for Kenna when Rogan finds her, and anger for what Kenna has had to live with for her entire life.I am a HUGE fan of Stacy Claflin’s but this book was different for her. There was still the tough subjects that she is known for, there was still the relatable characters that I come to expect in her books, but this story seemed more rushed. I felt like these characters could have been more developed. There seemed to be more to their story that wasn’t told. Kenna seemed too accepting of Rogan’s help, too accepting of who she was, and just not cautious enough with what she had gone through. This story just seemed to want to tell me more. With all that being said, I could not stop reading. I was invested in Kenna and Rogan. I wanted to know what happen to them. Would Rogan make it big with his band? Would Kenna be able to figure out the mystery of her past? Most importantly would Rogan and Kenna be together?I recommend picking up your own copy of When Tomorrow Starts Without You and enjoying the story of Kenna and Rogan.

When Tomorrow Starts Without Me by Stacy Claflin
When Tomorrow Starts Without Me by Stacy ClaflinWhat a wild ride of emotions this story was. Instead of putting it down until the next day, I was so caught up in the life of brave Kenna who had fought for every decent moment of life she had so far experienced, that I could only put it down in the early hours when I had the final pages to read. I saved them for myself as a treat. I am even going to go back and dive into the book where her life begins to change and read it again today. We begin our story with a girl desperate to kill herself in front of a train, but saved by a guy who has more empathy in his little finger than her ‘father’ had in his whole body. Her step mum is a horror and her step brother is the reason she wants to die.But the guy who saves her is more than enough to take on her pain and try to make her see there is more to life. So begins their struggle to get through the lies she knows as her past. Kenna is up for the challenge and Rogan is going nowhere without her. He brings her into his family and his musical life where she makes good friends who see the best in this beaten down Kenna and keep going until she is strong enough to search for her life herself! Stacy Claflin always surprises me with the new type of story she comes up with. Dex is a perfect example. Completely different type of story.I’m so very grateful Stacy chose me to be one of the ones to read and review this book. I was given the book to read but the review is entirely my own. Please don’t hesitate to buy this book and don’t put it on your shelf for later but read it now and give yourself a treat of emotions that you will feel as you read Kenna’s journey to find herself.

Hard reading
I could understand her thinking even though I didn't have her life I have tried to end the sadness within. A great love story with some twists and I would think the bullies should have been in legal trouble as well. Don't think I can read the second book but I'm sure its good.

Stacy Claflin never disappoints her readers!
What happens when you save someone's life, out of instinct rather than out of choice? Can an event like that form a bond between two people you can't otherwise explain? And can this unexpected bond be the answer to questions you didn't know you had? These are the questions Kenna and Rogan face right from the beginning.I'm having a hard time trying to pigeonhole this story. Is it romance? There's a love story, for sure, but there's much more than that. And we have learnt to expect a will-the-boy-and-the-girl-get-together kind of story from romance, right? In this case, I never really had a doubt. I instinctively knew that Rogan was going to stand for her, no matter what, no matter how difficult the situation. No, the point of the story is can love like that be enough to overcome the hardships of the most painful life? And when it's not enough, what's left to hold on to?Stacy Claflin deals with incredibly delicate and thorny themes with tact and respect, but without sparing the reader with the ugliness of it all. She does this through an engaging cast of characters (I can't wait to learn more about Rogan's sister's story) and bringing together the good and the bad of two very different worlds. When Tomorrow Starts Without Me was an excellent read, which made me cry of sadness and joy more than once and left me wanting for more.

AN EMOTIONAL, HEARTBREAKING STORY THAT WILL HAVE YOU WANTING MORE
Kenna and Rogan meet when she is at her lowest and wants to end it all. While they try to navigate everything she has been thru, his future, her past, and his band things for them become complicated when her story unfolds and people who are supposed to be friends do the unthinkable. When she makes a decision she has to come to terms with all that is left unsaid and what she has yet to discover. Will she be able to find out the truth? Will Rogan be able to show her the truth and more? An amazing read that will pull every emotion, feeling, and more out and very slowly put it back together. I don't want to say too much but I loved this story and can't wait to read the next.

Unique
Very unique story line for a romance. Main characters are very young, and I prefer to read about older ones. On the whole it is well written and edited , I founds parts to be a little more detailed then necessary and skimmed in places.

Like the story
I like the main characters. I deal with depression as she dealt and low self esteem. It was a nice story but the band kinda disappeared in it. I was glad for the happy ending.
