Great sight!
Very bright and no rear sight needed!

Cheap and fragile
Broke in less then 100 shots. Do not buy this overly priced, fragile, horrible product. The rear site back plate also doesn’t stay in place and it is very sharp. I learned this as I pulled the slide back and released, slicing my thumb.Update: Their customer service is near scam levels of bad. Their form you have to use to submit a warranty claim doesn’t work. You can’t submit the info and I tried multiple platforms. Do not buy anything from this company.

Great as a front sight
It's not perfect but certainly unique and works as intended. However, using it as a standalone sight, I didn't find it to be too accurate (as if it's a shorter sight radius, maybe I need to get used to it). After putting a rear sight back on, it felt really accurate to use the Mepro as a front sight.Combined with the rear sight of the DXT2 I was using, I got an extra degree of certainty from the Mepro of being aligned: lining up the notch of the rear with the front bullseye, and also seeing that the dot is inside the circle of the bullseye. Second, the center of the bullseye provides a more precise aim point than night sights. Note: using traditional rear sights may obscure your view of the bullseye too much. The product comes with a rear sight cover, which is how it's intended to be used. Also, the hybrid tritium + fiber optic works better than expected. It is super bright when there is any amount of ambient light, but more illuminated than I expected when it's completely dark. In fact, I kind of like the dimmer level of tritium glow compared to XS Sights.I'll admit, quality control is a bit rough: some of the edges don't seem properly rounded and the front lens has some imperfections. But I hope Mepro continues to make more products like these.

Great quality and easy to use
Happy with the overall function in light and dark conditions. Much lower profile than having a red dot and less weight. Easier to quickly line up targets on the draw than with traditional sights

It's fast
I bought a non-optic ready 3.6" P320 slide, this didn't end up working on it, the front sight mounting area outside of the dovetail is recessed a little, this sight does not account for that. So, I sanded down just the front portion of the bottom of the front sight. It melted a glue or something inside but whatever, mount it and let's get a feel for if this thing works. It does, I have a 30yd steel range I built in my backyard, I ran it at 8yds to make sure it was hitting in the same atmosphere, POA/POI test. Then on to my texas star, intuitive and very quick. So, if it'll work for your gun, I think it's a great sight, it isn't a "shoot a gnat off a fly's rump" style sight, it's a "defend my life against a potential murderer" type of sight, aim center of mass and let'er rip type sight.Quick, I find it easy to see and crisp, red dot dots are stars to me, normal irons add an additional sight plane which adds another blurry object to have to line up.So, I wish they had these for these other P320 slides, I'd use them on both my p320s, and I've got a Bul 3.25" 2011 I'd like one on too. But unfortunately they are very limited in weapon options.

Compact. Accurate. Elegant!
I was intrigued by the compact design that allows for the replacement of traditional front and rear sights with this single unit!Aiming is very easy and accurate using the dot and ring to line things up! It is self-illuminating and requires no batteries! It’s a clean look once you remove the rear sight! I bought second one for another firearm!

Sooo Much better than I thought!!!
I want an original meprolight FT Bullseye a few years ago and it was pretty good, it was the one that went on the rear of the slide. I liked it a lot but it was very confusing if you didn’t remove the the front sight.I think what they’ve done with the new version, moving the dot to the front sight and getting rid of the rear sight is so much better. And I love that they included a blank for where the rear sight would be as well. It’s literally as good as a micro-red dot as far as I’m concerned without the cost or hassle that comes with putting a micro dot on your pistol.Absolutely plan on putting these are all of my pistols from now on.Really very happy with it!!

Piece of crap. Non returnable crap.
I thought it's a good idea. It's not. It swings around even with Locktite. You have a nice good leather holster that holds you gun really snug and comfortable? It's gonna shift. Get TruGlo. And no I'm not associated with TruGlo. I'm just mad that returns are not accepted. Be careful, whatever Amazon tells you, it's not returnable. You just find out after you get it.
