A Bit Racially Biased
When I opened this game I was surprised by the representation on the cards. There were almost no positive emotions for represented by brown children and zero positive emotions representation by brown male cards. I felt to only have the positive emotions represented by white people wasn't uplifting and the cover of the box was misleading because it shows a positive emotion for a brown child but it's basically the only one like that in the box. I showed it to a friend of mine and she was very sad as a black woman to see the black girl be the stereotypical angry black girl and noticed how uneven everything was right away. I am at a loss for what to do with this game. I feel like it's trash and not even worth playing because of the subliminal social conditioning in the emotion cards. Also worth noting that this game is designed to play in teams and marketed as a something teachers can use in their classrooms. This is not ok for me and I am very very very disappointed. I've included a picture in which I've separated the cards by gender and color for you to see clearly what I am referring to.

Nice idea but poor execution
The idea of a game that gets you to discuss feelings and think about the feelings of others is great, so I got this for our family.Unfortunately, the game is poorly designed. It is very complex, with multiple decks of cards for different things compounded by poorly written, sometimes indecipherable instructions. We basically spent a lot of time trying to figure out how the game works, just so we could tell each other how we feel about different hypothetical situations.Skip this game and just talk to your family about feelings.
