Great idea! But 3/32” too short, so I can’t close the spring loaded door that covers the opening because it’s too long! The problem could be resolved by extending the spring loaded tip that presses against the back wall of the tube. That would allow the unit to set as far back as it needs to! Nevertheless, it’s better than sticking out more than an inch. Also, it’s easily removed by using the swivel ring on the front. And the connection slots light up too! A benefit in the dark!

First, people want to know does it work, does it charge fast. I will get right to that... Yes... I never seen something charge a phone so fast. I am a electronic Tech from the 80s and retired now. My story- I go to alot of concerts to see on road trips. My main phone is only one that has a plan so I have to use it also as a GPS. So, that sucks the battery on a 5hr trip and arrive and phone is half dead for a 2hr show. I plug this charger in at mid point in car and not long phone is at 100. I arrive at Arena at 100 and film whole show. This thing can zap a phone battery fast. 43 concerts later since I brought and I still use it. I think I brought it like 9 months ago maybe.

This charget is great for the Anker Solix C300 DC! It slides in flush to the unit and provides an additional USB-A and USB-C port! It is also easy to pull out due to the little flip up handle!

Fits very well.., nearly flush to the dash, so it doesn’t get in the way of anything. Well made, and the small flip clip makes it easy to pull out.

it's compact and it works. Not sure about the rating. My iphone 16 while using GPS was not kept charged, it only discharged slower.
